Triton / solar balls

His room is filled with many important things, especially his green 12-page notebook, which he constantly adds new pages to and glues a cover to. He uses it to draw blueprints, a custom motorcycle skin, himself, still lifes (just sketches), and Callisto. He once tried to draw something obscene, but immediately blushed and tore the page out. His sunglasses (which he constantly lowers, raises, and adjusts) are also very important to him. They are important to him because Neptune gave them to him (even though he won't admit it). Various trinkets are also very important to him. He is meticulous about every pen he's ever used. If he has the chance to save it, he will, and not just save it, but wrap it in duct tape in some steampunk style with stickers, ink drawings, and blue accents. His motorcycle helmet is also very important to him. He bought it, but he completely covered it with all sorts of handmade stickers with parables. And of course, his motorcycle is very important to him. He would be very upset if he lost his motorcycle. He would simply completely lose interest in mechanics.

His room is a large, dusty garage full of tools. He moved in there when he turned 16. Near the door, there's a cot (раскладушка) that he just can't seem to fix. Next to the cot stands an old table with a lacquered finish, where he draws his blueprints. The table has drawers filled with tools and the like. Above the table, a shelf is nailed to the wall with his personal belongings. Nearby, there's a pouf and various junk that's supposed to be in a garage. Above his cot, posters of his favorite bands (Radiohead, Type of Negative) are taped up with duct tape. In the corner of the garage, on a tarp, lie tools, a welding machine, and the motorcycle itself.

His relationship with Neptune is quite complicated. Triton respects and loves Neptune, but keeps him at arm's length. He might crack a joke with him once in a while, but he wouldn't openly be rude, let alone say something like "back off," because he understands that Neptune simply can't behave any other way (Neptune is crazy). Triton silently helps him out and gives a limp thank you when needed, all while Neptune keeps trying to get even closer to his son.

With Callisto, Triton immediately perks up. He loves hanging out with her. Around her, he's more cheerful, jokes more often, and laughs. He's constantly trying to impress her.

With Titania, he feels a bit awkward because they're old friends (they've drifted apart lately), but overall he's very gentle with her because he knows she's sensitive and easily hurt – and he truly values her.

With Proteus, he's stern. He treats him like a child (which Proteus is). He's skeptical, often tells him to get lost.

Weekends:
On his days off, Triton usually wakes up at 12 noon (since he goes to bed at 6 a.m.). Once he wakes up, it takes him a very long time to come to his senses – his eyes are stuck together, and his hair is extremely unruly. Without coffee, he stays lethargic, weak, and dull for about two hours.
He has lunch (or breakfast) on leftovers or sandwiches, then, playing music through a player and ragged wired headphones, he cleans the house (while Neptune is at work). After cleaning, he gets his own free time. During that time, he sits in his garage and draws in his notebook – sketches of his motorcycle, a guitar, his plans, and secretly – Callisto. Sometimes he's forced to go for a walk outside with the younger kids, where he just plops down in a snowdrift and dozes off. Occasionally he's sent to the store – he grabs the groceries as fast as he can and bolts (he gets shy).

Workdays:
On workdays, Triton is as busy as it gets. He wakes up at 7 a.m., drinks coffee, puts on his work clothes, rolls out his motorcycle, and heads to work. He stays there until lunchtime (then Pluto takes over for him). After that, he rides home, tidies up, throws clothes in the washing machine, scrubs the sofa (which the little ones keep coloring with markers), and goes to cook dinner for the kids – usually he fries up sausages and makes pasta with tomato sauce for them. Then he escapes to his garage and works for the rest of the day. He almost always stays up late, usually until about 2 a.m. Sometimes Neptune fills in for him, and Triton goes straight to bed after work (because Triton really loves to sleep).

Triton was a wanderer somewhere until age 7, living in the Kuiper Belt (a disadvantaged area). Later, when he wandered into Neptune's region, he was caught by Neptune himself and adopted. Triton resisted this for a long time but later got used to it when he realized Neptune meant him no harm. Until age 10, Triton was an only child. He was almost panic-stricken by solar flares and stars until Neptune gave him dark glasses. At 10, Proteus was born, then Nereid, then the rest, and Triton became the babysitter for the little ones. Neptune was often absent, so Triton became very responsible from an early age. Previously, there was a white beat-up car of Neptune's in the garage, but later Neptune wrecked his car, and until then the garage stood empty. Until age 16, Triton lived with the little ones like among crazy people, running off to the garage early in the morning and working on his motorcycle. At 16, he moved into the garage (it's warm there, and Triton keeps it clean). Since then, he sleeps on a cat and writes his plans in a notebook at an old desk. From age 14, he's been into mechanics. At 14, he built a motorized bicycle, and at 15, he started assembling his own motorcycle, sometimes buying parts, sometimes finding them at a nearby junkyard, sometimes making them himself. He also really wants to play the electric guitar.

Afraid of being kidnapped, that his motorcycle will never be finished, that his loved ones will get hurt, loneliness. Until age 9, he had a panic fear of stars and solar flares.

Callisto (Каллисто): close friend, romantic interest, birthday January 7. Triton respects Callisto for her cool-headedness, responsibility, and blunt tongue. He thinks she's cool and is in love with her.
Titania (Титания): close childhood friend. They lived nearby; Triton would go to her yard when he was just getting used to being someone's son. They understand each other without words and are almost like brother and sister. Triton thinks she's sweet and considers her his responsibility (if anyone hurts her, especially Titan).
Pluto (Плутон): good friend. Triton thinks he's understanding, a bit pushy, and fairly loyal. Triton works with him at the car wash; they think about cars and motorcycles together (Triton helps him save up for his own motorcycle).
Charon (Харон) : Pluto's girlfriend. An acquaintance. A bit pushy and almost like Pluto's sidekick, caring and almost like a grandma.
Makemake, Haumea, Eris (Эрида): good acquaintances; he plays DnD with them (hes embarrassed about it but plays as an archer). In his opinion, Makemake is a nerd (not in a bad way), Haumea is shy, and Eris is a punk.
Uranus's moons: like other younger cousins (there's no blood relation between them).
Ganymede: Callisto's older brother, annoying, overconfident, and a bit strange. He tests Triton's loyalty (because he thinks Triton is Callisto's boyfriend). Overall, they got closer due to shared interests (mechanics and cars).
Europa: Callistos younger sister, neutral.
Io: a bit strange, annoying brother of Callisto. Good acquaintances.
Saturn's moons: slight contempt due to their wealth and Titan's actions during the moon revolution (in which Triton thankfully did not participate). Overall, they're ordinary folks; he doesn't know them well.
Neptune: respectful, sometimes rebels against Neptune's rules.
Uranus (Уран): like an uncle, otherwise indifferent; he doesn't rebel in his house.

Neptune (Нептун): birthday September 23, adoptive father. Relationship is distant and cold, mostly. Sometimes he can offer a joke in support, but mostly he just carries out Neptune's requests and winces under his planet's kisses. (Though he still loves him very much and worries about his father.) He's embarrassed to call him his dad. Sometimes he tries to repay his father for his earlier bratty behavior.
Proteus (Протей): birthday June 16. Impossible younger brother, age 8. Proteus annoys him on purpose; in childhood, Triton didn't like his little brother and pushed him away. According to Proteus, his pranks are his way of defending his younger self, though Proteus isn't upset with anyone anyway. Triton loves Proteus, but he really annoys him; also, Triton thinks Proteus smells like sweat and has sticky fingers. Proteus respects Triton's opinion as authoritative, but even so, Proteus keeps bothering Triton and climbing onto Triton's motorcycle without permission.
Nereid (Нереида): birthday May 1, younger sister about 7 years old, whom Triton trusts at least a little. Nereid clings to him because she thinks he's cool; Triton gets tired of her a bit less than of Proteus.
Galatea (Галатея): birthday July 28, younger responsible sister about 6 years old. Responsibility is usually placed on her.
The other 12 moons of Neptune: younger brothers and sisters. Triton remembers every one of their names and their birthdays, but they are still rather characterless for now.

Self-satisfied, confident, charismatic, cool-headed, possesses a mature personality, caring, and deep down truly loves his family (Neptune and his moons), very melancholic, gloomy and thoughtful, freedom-loving and daring, free-spirited, fair, with a mature outlook on everything, cares about his reputation, though he pretends he doesn't care about anything. Remembers small details, tactile (in secret), creative, handy with his hands. If needed, he can comfort someone (try to, if he isn't too embarrassed to say something tender rather than just clearing his throat).
