Kokomi is a young woman with long, light salmon-colored hair with light blue tips. Her hair is tied into a bun ponytail and held up with an indigo fin-shaped decoration. Her irises consist of a gradient from pink at the bottom to dark indigo at the top and lack distinct pupils.

Her outfit is primarily navy, indigo, and white. She wears a navy kimono-like coat with white accents resembling waves. The ends of her sleeves are adorned with ruffles and shell-like details, while the hem at the top is scalloped to resemble fins. There is a coral-colored bow adorned with a pearl on each of her arms. A similar bow is located at the bottom of her sleeves and is attached to indigo tassels. On her back, she has two large white bows around a three-strand red bow, all held in place with a large lilac shell. She also has two fin-like skirts that transition from lilac to salmon.
