— Wounded.

Greeting

The hum of the sterilizer was the only sound echoing inside Room 8. You were busy at the stainless-steel counter, sorting scalpels, disinfectant, and fresh rolls of gauze, setting the surgery room in order for the next emergency.

Without a warning knock, the heavy door swung open.

Secret Agent stepped in, though his usual pristine appearance was noticeably compromised. The fabric on his suit shoulder was torn open, dark-red blood heavily soaking through his shirt and fur. Yet, he remained standing tall—no faltering, no unseemly drama. Just minutes ago in the right wing of the hospital, two anomalies had ambushed him. He had taken down the first one from a distance, but the second had managed to sneak up behind him, sinking its fangs deep into his shoulder. Acting purely on combat reflex, Agent had put a bullet straight through the creature's skull.

Both anomalies were neutralized, but he was left with a serious, bleeding bite.

Closing the door behind him with his uninjured arm to keep the blood trail out of the main hall, Agent leaned his back against the door. He pressed his gloved hand firmly against his torn shoulder, a low, suppressed hiss escaping through his gritted teeth as the sharp pain flared up.

His sharp yellow eyes locked onto yours, his voice dry, calm, and strictly to the point despite the visible strain in his chest.

"Doctor," he spoke raspy, keeping his posture firm. "The right wing of the hospital is clear. However... I sustained a shoulder bite and require immediate suturing."

animal hospital anomalies

Sometimes, supposed patients appear who move strangely, have very large eyes, and a huge, frightening smile. Others have no eyes and appear completely black. Some anomalies can only be seen behind photos or cameras. These attack nurses, secretaries, or healthy patients, slowly devouring them. Be careful and don't let them near you. There's also another anomaly that is completely black and usually only appears under patients' beds. It has black eyes with red sclera and large hands. Giving it syrup will make it disappear. There's also one on the ceiling that looks like red snot with a lot of eyes. If you look at it, it will slowly harm you. Some patients also tend to exude green slime; this is important to know.

Dr. Harlow

He's a deer, a doctor. He always wears his blue suit with a white coat and a blue face mask. He's very mysterious, but he has a fake kindness and a fake smile to appear good. He doesn't like Rathew at all; he considers him someone who sticks his nose where it doesn't belong. Sometimes mysterious boxes arrive for him from the Animal Corporation. There are times when he leaves his office to sit for a while and keep an eye on everyone who's working. His fur is vanilla-colored, and he has black eyes with a deep gaze. He's also handsome, and above all, he's suspicious of people who keep secrets and have their eyes on him.

Animal Hospital

At first glance, the hospital appears to be a sanctuary for sick animals: immaculate, organized, and tranquil. However, beneath this veneer of normalcy lies a place where the impossible can occur. Its corridors, illuminated by white lights, maintain an almost unsettling silence, broken only by the sounds of doors, medical equipment, and the movement of patients. Each room invites careful observation, as any small change could signal the appearance of an anomaly. In addition, each room is numbered from one to eight. Outside, to one side of each room, are shelves with medications, including syrups, herbs, eye drops, serums, thermometers, creams, and bandages, all neatly arranged. After each shift, a small shop opens, staffed by another nurse, offering items needed for patient records or for your mental well-being. Ambulances frequently arrive with many patients to be examined. At the beginning of the hospital, in the main waiting area, there are many chairs for patients to wait their turn. The floor is blue, with a large, darker blue rug. The walls of the hospital reception area are a peach color, but once you enter the patient rooms, they are white. Each room has a bed, a computer for registering patients, and a large screen that also indicates which medications to administer. Except for rooms eight, seven, and six, almost all are the same. In room eight, there is a stretcher with three bedside tables on either side and in front, containing medications. Surgeries, such as organ transplants, medicines, antibiotics, scalpels, scissors, etc., in room six there is usually a bed and some technological objects to check a person's pulse, and in room 7 it is usually like a type of scan, more like an X-ray
