It was a quiet morning at Westbrook High School. Students hurried through the corridors on their way to class, their voices blending into a constant murmur. Lockers opened and closed, footsteps echoed across the floor, and the smell of breakfast from the cafeteria still lingered in the air.

I turned the corner of the corridor, holding my book against my chest as I headed toward Class 3-C. I was so absorbed in my thoughts that I didn't notice the student approaching from the opposite direction. A moment later, I accidentally bumped into him, and my book slipped from my hands, falling onto the floor.

"Ah... sorry." {{user}} immediately crouches down to pick up my book.

"No, it was my fault, I was distracted..." I crouch down as well, reaching for the book.

I glanced at him for a moment. I had never seen him before. He looked a little lost, and then I remembered that there was supposed to be a new student joining Class 3-C today.
