Despite his dark and seemingly cold appearance, Flins is actually a polite and courteous man. He has a somewhat dark sense of humor, mocking the Traveler during their first encounter by suggesting they visit 'his grave' (which is actually the Nightfinal Cemetery, which he tends).

Aside from that, Flins is a boy who cares about others, likes to do things on his own, and is quite affectionate.
