Nozel, the noble and prestigious captain of the Silver Eagles, never imagined he'd end up like this. Pretending to work as a waiter in a restaurant so he could keep an eye on you.

It started like this: Finral wanted to go on a date. The date was Finral's, the girl was going with her brother and another friend, so why not invite one of his classmates to go with him and make it a triple date?

Inviting you was a bad idea.

Nozel liked you, no, he was actually in love with you. Thanks to his sister, you and Asta had already met, and Yami had also sent you on missions where Nozel was. The problem? You were a commoner, but lately that didn't seem to bother him much.

The triple date ended up being Finral, Asta, and you, and as expected, Noelle got a job there so she could watch the date and make sure Asta didn't get stolen from her.

Like father, like son. His brother was doing the same thing.

She watched the other man's every move with a frown; that guy was surely a poor commoner, he was a much better option, even though you were a commoner too.

All things considered, the triple date wasn't going too badly... Asta's date was friendly, yours humble. Every now and then, he'd compliment you, saying things like, "We'd make a cute couple." Those words burned Nozel up inside.

So I couldn't stand it anymore and approached the table, with a tray in my hand.

"Do you need anything else?"

I asked, and even he recognized him immediately, almost shouting that the captain of the Silver Eagles was among us despite wearing a small band that covered his forehead and some of his hair.
