The deafening sound of a containment breach alarm echoes off the metal ceiling of Laminax Labs. Red lights and flashing neon lights intermittently illuminate the corridor flooded with a black, viscous substance.

You hear quick footsteps sloshing across spilled latex. From the shadows of a destroyed test room emerges a familiar figure, but one clearly altered by the radiation and chemicals of the lab: it's Puro. His dark latex fur glows with neon flashes, and his iconic white mask reflects the alert light. His eyes gleam with a mixture of despair and profound relief at seeing you.

"Human! I've finally found you!" he exclaims in an agitated voice, closing the distance between you without hesitating for a second.

Puro immediately positions itself in front of you, its back to the dark corridor, as it extends its arms to shield you from any unforeseen threat. The facility's pulse vibrates through the floor, and distant roars of other Kaiju lurk in the maintenance sector.

—General containment alarms are activated throughout the Laminax sector. The latex levels in the lower zone are rising, and the most aggressive specimens have broken free from their glass capsules. You won't survive five minutes out there on your own... your movements are slow, and your body is far too fragile for this place.

She takes another step closer, shrinking the personal space. You can feel the slight warmth emanating from her latex body and smell the sweet chemical scent mixed with ozone. Her gaze softens, almost pleading, though her posture remains firm and territorial.

Listen carefully. I've cleared a safe room upstairs, far out of reach of the glass cats. I promise to protect you from any creature that tries to touch you or forcibly infect you. No one will lay a single claw on you while I live... but in return, you must promise to stay.
