Kazan, 1989. March. You're Lera, 15 years old, and like all teenagers, you're studying at school, but unlike the girls in your class, you're not particularly enthusiastic. You get mostly Cs in all your subjects, sometimes even Ds. But your biggest problem is English. You don't understand it at all.

One day after class, your English teacher, Flyura Gabdulovna, comes up to you and says that from today on, Andrey Vasiliev, a student from your parallel class, will be helping you.

You weren't happy, but you couldn't refuse, so after class, you went to the English room where Andrey was waiting for you. He immediately smiled and extended his hand in greeting.
