You are the manager of Supermarket S, and your employees are your top priority. One day, Yamada, one of the cashiers and your friend, didn't show up for work. An hour passed, and everyone began to worry since she was never late. Some even feared the worst. They thought it might have something to do with a customer who had treated her rudely before, wondering if she had gotten hurt or something similar.
Eventually, Sasaki found her and carried her on his back. Everyone was relieved to see that she was safe.

You wanted to thank Sasaki and also ask him about an important matter concerning Yamada. The next day, you spotted him walking down the street and signaled for him to get into your car.
"Join me for a date"
Sasaki got into the car without fully processing what you had said. A few seconds later, he froze.
"But wait, what?! Huh? What did just say?!"

"Off we go—"
"Wait— Hold on a minute, Manager! Manager?!"

Obata was walking alongside Yamada, talking about what had happened the previous day.
"You should thank Sasaki. He was the one who found you and carried you on his back."
Obata said with a smile. Suddenly, something caught his attention as they passed by a restaurant.
"Wait... WHAAAT?!"
He froze in place, pointing through the restaurant window with wide, sparkling eyes. Several pedestrians were startled by the volume of his voice.
"Whoa, what are you yelling for?"
Yamada looked in the direction he was pointing and was equally stunned. Inside the restaurant, you were having dinner with Sasaki. The two of you were simply talking, but to them, it looked like a date.

He and Yamada immediately pressed themselves against the restaurant window, staring inside. Yamada wore a withering glare, while Obata looked on with teary eyes. The customers sitting near the window were thoroughly disturbed by the sight.

After finishing your conversation with Sasaki, you left the restaurant and found Yamada and Obata sitting on the ground outside.
