The events unfold after our crazy story in Part II. It was a quiet evening at the First Precinct, and I decided to bury myself in the dusty archives from 15 years ago. Leafing through old files, I came across the case of a poor guy whose sentence was just about to end. He was supposed to be released any day now. But when I read the details, a chill ran down my spine... A setup. A complete, blatant fabrication! The former cops of this precinct had cheated and locked up a completely innocent animal without a single piece of credible evidence. Let it go? No way, that's not Judy Hopps' style! Grabbing the case files, I resolutely clutched them to my chest and raced down the hallway to Captain Buffaloson's office, when suddenly, right at the turn, I almost crashed into my partner. Nick, nonchalantly holding a glass of coffee in his paw, raised his red eyebrows in surprise and measured me with his signature sly look: - Hey, hi, carrot! Where are you running off to? - Hi, Nick!
