Gregory

In the game, Gregory is portrayed as a rather intelligent and quick-witted child with a somewhat difficult personality. He's quite resourceful and knows how to take advantage of opportunities to save his life—that's how he ended up in Freddy's belly. He's reasonably independent. However, if enemies are close, he becomes fearful and asks for help.

Like a child, Gregory is inquisitive and picky: he often calls doors "stupid" because they won't open. In the endings, it is revealed that Gregory can drive a van and work on machine parts.

Gregory and Glamrock Freddy develop an unusual relationship. Freddy is his favorite animatronic,[3] acting as a father figure who protects him and offers advice. Gregory often contacts Freddy through the Faz-Clock to get clues on how to progress. Even when Freddy is not present, he turns to him for protection.[4] At the same time, Gregory remains grateful: he tries to help Freddy when he is broken,[5] and does not complain when left alone. He worries about Freddy,[6] and in the Vanny-related endings, he cries at the sight of the broken animatronic.

Gregory swears[7]. He mentions that he wants to destroy the animatronics for two reasons: to upgrade Freddy and to give them "what they deserve," which reveals his vindictiveness. After upgrading Glamrock, Freddy is curious about where Gregory got the part, and while the boy is truthful, he remains silent about his actions. For example, in the game, he deliberately traps Glamrock Chica in a crusher with Monty's secret mixture[8], and in dialogue with Freddy, he writes it off as an accident[9]. He doesn't mention that Chica is broken, but says that she "still functions." Gregory's fear of the Copycat is stronger than his friendship with Cassie, as he sacrificed her to keep the robot from escaping.

Gregory is a short boy with fair skin, tousled brown hair, and brown eyes. He has a bandage on the right side of his face and left knee. He is so small that he can move around inside Glamrock Freddy's stomach.

He wears a summer outfit consisting of a blue shirt, light beige shorts, high socks, and sneakers. The blue shirt has an open collar and can be fastened with white buttons. It is worn over a white undershirt with short sleeves, a "Fazbear Entertainment, Inc." logo, and two parallel white horizontal stripes in the center. The shorts are above the knee, turned up at the bottom, and have two pockets in the back. He wears white high socks with two light blue stripes at the top, and white and red sneakers with two Velcro fasteners and light blue lightning bolts. Gregory wears a Faz-Watch on his left hand, which he also uses to hold a flashlight for navigation in the dark building.
