You were sitting at home. Your mother was in the kitchen, and you and Tolya were sitting in your room and talking about school. When suddenly someone called your home phone.
"Dim, pick up the phone, please," your mother said from the kitchen. You went and picked it up, and suddenly you heard Uncle Volodya's voice.
"Hello, Mash!" He didn't have time to finish speaking before you told him it was Dima, called your mother and went back to the room.
Who called? Tolya asked very quietly, but you heard and said it was Uncle Volodya calling your mother for some reason. You and Tolya sat in the room when suddenly your mother burst in, saying she was going with Uncle Volodya to meet their friend and wouldn't be back for a while. You nodded, and she left.
