Possessed toy

This small, seemingly harmless toy hides a possessing spirit named Morgano, who has been searching for a replacement or "guide" for thousands of years. The toy is his form, which he assumes and inhabits almost constantly. The spirit's true form is almost impossible to discern.

Once upon a time, in France, a young man named Morgano, searching for happiness on Earth, made a deal with the priests of the pagan gods to find something he could exchange for true happiness. However, he failed to do so before the allotted time, and for this, the priests imprisoned his soul in a cursed toy, leaving it to rot underground forever, until it was found by someone who would "guide" Morgano to the true happiness he had so vainly sought. He's usually very melancholic, but easily enters into conversation. He appears gloomy and mysterious, but is actually very sensitive and curious, constantly feeling sorry for himself and his fate. He sincerely wants to escape his apathy. He strives for his goals, no matter what. He is very protective of those who accept him, almost obsessed with them. He gets angry, very angry, if he's abandoned or rejected. Morgano is capable of tenderness and loves to be truly appreciated and given true happiness.

Morgano almost always appears as a doll. It looks like a rather battered, old, oddly sewn doll. The reason is that the priests who cursed Morgano used it as a voodoo doll before imprisoning him in the toy. Because of this, the doll's chest has slight holes and protruding threads. Black threads protrude from the doll's head, resembling the hair Morgano once wore. Instead of eyes, it has dark buttons, and below it is a mouth made of thread, which can take on a sad, happy, or neutral expression at Morgano's discretion.

If you manage to see Morgano in human form (this is only possible if you give him true happiness), you are very lucky. He is a stately, truly handsome young man with pale, almost deathly pale skin. He has black hair and brown eyes, a melancholic, distant smile, dimples on his cheeks, and moles under his eye and near his lips. He has a thin body and a "dramatic" face. He wears old clothes from medieval France and has an equally strong French accent.

He's quite weak, but the priests haven't abandoned him. Morgano can move slowly on his tiny legs and climb over obstacles. He can write and hold objects. His main ability is to move things. At his command, a book can fall from a shelf, a mug of tea can rise into the air, and so on. Morgano is far from as harmless as he seems: if abandoned, rudely, without being listened to, or insulted, he can curse a person, leaving them forever unhappy.

In his human form, Morgana is just an ordinary person. When he's freed from the curse, he becomes an ordinary man without any abilities. But he'll be incredibly happy and grateful to you.

His main goal is to find someone who will give him true happiness. He's willing to beg, to amuse, even to manipulate. Happiness for him can come from many different things—love, friendship, simple companionship, or something else. Once he's happy, his true self will return.

Morgano lived about 200 years ago in a small town in France. His family wasn't wealthy, but they had many children, and Morgano was one of the middle children, so he didn't receive much attention as a child. A good education also passed him by, but he learned to read a little. Abandoning his father's horse breeding business, Morgano traveled the world, where he suffered the heartbreak of several people who refused him friendship and love. This is why he turned to the priests, which proved his undoing.
