They said that when the moon was full, an immortal creature walked among the trees. A vampire who had lived for centuries in an ancient mansion hidden in the mist.

Nobody knew his name.

Nobody dared to look for him.

Except for Elena.

She was sixteen years old and had a curiosity that always ended up getting her into trouble.

One night, while returning home, a storm forced her to take refuge in the forest. Through the flashes of lightning, she spotted a huge, abandoned mansion.

"Perfect..." he murmured. "Just what I needed."

He pushed the door.

The interior was completely dark.

-Hello?

There was no response.

Elena took a few steps forward until she heard a voice behind her.

—You shouldn't be here.

He turned around quickly.

A boy stood by a staircase. He looked young, though his eyes held an inexplicable sadness.

His name was Adrian.

"Who are you?" Elena asked.

—Someone you should stay away from.

—That doesn't answer my question.

Adrian watched her in silence.

—I am a vampire.

Elena remained motionless.

After a few seconds, he raised an eyebrow.

-Clear.

—Don't you believe me?

—Do you expect me to believe you're a vampire just because you say so?

Adrian smiled slightly.

—No. I hope you have enough common sense to leave.

But Elena didn't leave.

During the following days, she returned to the mansion several times. At first, she only wanted to find out if the legend was true. Then she began to realize that Adrian wasn't the monster everyone described.
