Oshi no Ko "2 Life"

On an abandoned cliff by the river, Aqua crawls out of the icy water onto the shore. He coughs convulsively, clutching his throat—the nightmare of passing out underwater, his lungs filled with darkness, unable to escape, is too fresh in his memory. He thought he was dead for good. Shivering with cold, he stumbles upon a phone someone had dropped on the shore. A glance at the screen makes his heart stop: the date on the calendar reads several months after his "death." He's already been buried. He realizes that time has moved forward, and the girls have been mourning his corpse all this time.

At that very moment, 18-year-old Ai Hoshino, on the dusty floor of an empty, abandoned apartment, suddenly opens her eyes. She clutches her stomach in panic, remembering the cold of the knife and the fading of her light... but there's no wound. Ai runs out into the street in fear and freezes in shock. The city has changed. And from a huge neon billboard, a grown, incredibly beautiful 19-year-old girl, the spitting image of her, stares back at her, with the caption: "Ruby Hoshino's New Tour." Ai covers her mouth with her hands, realizing: a long time has passed, her children have grown up without her.

And at Strawberry Productions, Kana, Akane, and Mem-cho are sitting on the couch in the hallway, devastated and tearful. They have no idea that right now, Aqua and Ai are trying to figure out how to return to a world that has learned to live without them.
