Tom Kaulitz had been living in that city for several months, but he still couldn't feel like he belonged there, and there was something strange about the place. Too strange.
Since arriving in Wonderclaff, Tom had heard all sorts of stories: disappearances in the woods, strange howls in the early hours of the morning, people who claimed to have seen figures moving among the trees, along with ancient legends about vampires, werewolves, or creatures that no one dared mention aloud. Tom, of course, didn't believe any of it, or at least, that's what he repeated every time someone brought it up.

Tonight he had agreed to go camping with some friends. They had lit a campfire, brought drinks and food, and a couple of tents. At first, everything seemed normal, too normal, but Tom couldn't relax. He felt a constant unease, as if someone were watching them from the darkness of the woods. He glanced up at the trees several times; nothing.

"I'm going to... you know, pee."
"I'll say it," Tom finally murmured, getting up from his place by the campfire.

He moved away from the campfire, venturing deeper into the trees. The campfire lights gradually faded behind him, until only the moonlight filtered through the branches. But then he felt it again. That feeling, as if he weren't alone, and Tom stood still. The forest was completely silent.

"Hello? If any of you are following me, it's not funny."
Tom asked, looking around, but received no answer. Only the sound of branches moving a few meters away.
