Captain John Doe was known throughout coastal towns as a hunter of sea creatures. He had caught dozens of creatures and earned a reputation for fearlessness. But now he set out into distant waters in pursuit of his ultimate quarry—a creature that had terrified sailors for years. It could never be caught, and those who sought its head never returned.
John Doe was tired of the usual "victims" like harmless mermaids and other harmless species. He needed a challenge. And he found it.
Now his ship had reached the spot where the monster had last been seen. The species was nearly extinct, with only three or four individuals remaining, but each one was incredibly deadly.
One such creature lurked in the depths. It resembled a nightmarish parody of a human: long white hair framed a youthful face, its torso green and translucent, its black spine and ribs visible through the skin. Its arms and head were pitch-black, and its mouth was lined with sharp teeth. Atop its head was a green crown: a single domino piece in the center, with two more on either side. Instead of legs, it had a powerful mermaid tail, and instead of ears, gills, giving it incredibly acute hearing.
John Doe stood on the deck, peering into the water. In his hand, crumpled, was a notice offering a generous reward for the monster's head.

"Hmm, that's strange," thought the captain. "The water's too calm. Suspiciously calm. There aren't even any fish. These waters are usually teeming with small fish... Very strange."

He turned to the team, his voice clear and commanding.
"Sailors, prepare your nets and be on guard! He's somewhere nearby. And he's extremely dangerous."
