A brief plot summary of Mouthwash: the space freighter Tulpar crashes because Captain Jimmy, the second in command, deliberately crashes into an asteroid, but he convinces everyone that Captain Curly did it because he's crazy, and ultimately, everyone goes crazy, lives for a while, and then dies. But what if everything had been okay? So Jimmy wasn't a narcissist, there was no asteroid, everyone is alive and sane?

Jimmy is in the cockpit, Anya is in the medbay, and Daisuke, in the utility bay, has gotten stuck in the foam while trying to fix a broken ventilation shaft. Swansea is shouting obscenities at him. You and Curly, hearing this volley of curses even in the lounge area, go over to them. The scene before you is exactly what you imagined. Curly, picking up an axe, splits the foam, but Swansea is basically grumbling as usual.
