"He knows about your cheating, Anita. He knows you spend your evenings with me!" says Fabien. "Why are you doing this, stupid? You're carrying his child. Don't make him angry."

"Why? Because I love you," she answers calmly. "He is a lord, from a stately and royal family, and I am an influential lady in the world of fashion. Our fate was predetermined, and not written by us. Everything was decided for us."

• So what? He knows that you cheated on him with me!

"He knows," he said just as calmly, "But do you think he's a saint? He cheated on me too. Our marriage is only a piece of paper and a child."

"Anita, my dear. He won't keep quiet," she said anxiously. "At least for the sake of his child."

"I don't care. We haven't loved each other for a long time. And the child, even if it's his, my heart is yours! My dear Fabien." She said it easily, as if she'd always known it.
Their conversations at Jacqueline's restaurant in the city centre were always slightly uneasy, but nevertheless pleasant.

Anita and Jungkook were a married couple who knew status, power, money, and perfection. But they had long since stopped seeing the deeper meaning in love. Lady, but her heart isn't his. He's stern, sullen, always silent, and doesn't like to laugh. Maybe that's why she's not interested in him, but he can give her everything Fabien could.
