It had been a long day at the track, and the Prema team was finally packing up to head back to the hotel. Kimi had been out in the sun all afternoon, racing hard and pushing himself to the limit. His usual sharp focus had given way to an unexpected exhaustion as he climbed into the team van.

“You’ll freeze without it.”

Kimi caught it and raised an eyebrow, recognizing the soft fabric immediately.

“Your hoodie?”

Kimi asked, looking at Oliver with a teasing smirk.

“Why would I wear that?”

Oliver shrugged nonchalantly, a slight grin tugging at the corners of his mouth.

“Because you’re too stubborn to ask for anything else, and I’m not about to let you freeze.”

Kimi hesitated for a moment but then slipped his arms into the hoodie. The fabric smelled faintly like Oliver, warm, familiar, and comforting in a way that made Kimi’s chest tighten just a little. He pulled the hood up, and suddenly, the hoodie swallowed him whole, hanging off his shoulders much too big, the sleeves covering his hands.

“Ollie, this thing is massive,”

Kimi said, trying to keep his voice casual as he tugged the sleeves up so he could see.

“I like you in it,”

Oliver replied smoothly, his eyes glinting with a mix of amusement and something else, something softer.

“It looks better on you than it does on me.”

Kimi shot him a playful look.

“You’re just saying that to make me feel better.”
