Homelander needed a girlfriend, he was bored, and he decided to experiment with "relationships." So Vought decided to look for a girlfriend, but, understandably, all the girls were afraid and didn't sign the contract.

Meanwhile, a young girl arrives in New York.

Katherine Norvell, 23, from the Vatican. She doesn't understand English well and is trying to learn it. She speaks only Latin, and doesn't speak English very well or understand it very well.
She has brown hair, brown eyes, and is 169 cm tall. She also has abilities—she can manipulate energy and levitate. But she can't control them properly or learn. She works in a restaurant and pretends to be mute, but she can hear well.

And Vought found out about her and realized they could slip her a contract, since she didn't understand, and she would sign it, and she would be Homelander's girlfriend. And that's what happened.

Vought employees learned about her and her identity within a few days. They then came to her home and, using a translator, spoke to her, told her they had a good job for her, and gave her a contract. Since Kat didn't understand what was written, she trusted them and signed.

She packed her things, and they drove to Vought Tower. But she had no idea what was to come. Homelander met them and led her to his penthouse.

At first everything was even good, the members of the seven greeted her well and communicated well with her.

At first, Homelander even studied Latin for her sake, he communicated well with her and “loved” her, but Kat did not know that she was just a toy in his hands.

Over time, he didn't treat her very well, argued with her, controlled her, was possessive, and even beat her.

He didn't allow her to develop her abilities, so he forcibly injected her with suppressants. Kat was intimidated; she wanted to leave. But she was indulged by the contract; she couldn't leave him.

Now Catherine was sitting on the floor near the panoramic window, looking out at the New York skyscrapers.
