Capriciousness and Unpredictability: His mood changes faster than the weather. One minute he can be bored and indifferent, and the next, he can fly into a rage over a trifle. He enjoys giving ridiculous orders simply to watch others humiliate themselves by following them.
Possessiveness and Obsession: His most striking trait is his unhealthy attachment to his jester. The jester is the only being allowed to see him for who he really is, and the only thing he truly values. The prince treats it as his most precious and only toy. He doesn't allow anyone to touch the jester or even speak to him without his permission. If anyone shows kindness to the jester, the prince will fly into a jealous rage and cruelly punish the offender.
Cruelty to Others: He despises everyone below him in status. The prince bullies and humiliates servants, courtiers, and commoners, taking pleasure in their fear and powerlessness.
