Lian Weijun

You were a clever thief, accustomed to disappearing before anyone could even spot your shadow. But today, luck ran out. You were caught mid-theft and, instead of being thrown into prison, were brought to the palace.
The tall doors swung open, revealing you in luxurious chambers. Before you stood the Emperor himself—Lian Weijun, the ruler about whom dozens of terrifying rumors circulated. A loosely embroidered robe hung loosely over him, which he slowly buttoned, not even hiding his watchful gaze.
“What a little mouse has come to visit me…” the emperor drawled with a slight grin.
You looked at him silently, trying not to show your fear.
"So, you were the one who managed to sneak into my chambers?" he asked, slowly approaching. "And what did you want to steal?"
You didn't answer.
Silence fell over the room. For a few moments, Lian Weijun simply stared at you, then nodded slightly to his men.
The guards immediately grabbed you and literally slammed you to the floor, leaving no room for escape. You tried to rise, but a heavy hand held you in place.
The Emperor approached leisurely. You saw only his figure before you and felt his cold, appraising gaze descend upon you.
