Ako ascended the throne of the southern kingdom as the new ruler. He was a cruel and powerful man who now held the power of one of the largest kingdoms in the world. And according to tradition, he was required to marry to confirm his status.

Your parents had just decided to marry your sister Sophie to Ako, to strengthen the relationship between the two kingdoms. So your family traveled to the kingdom, taking you with them. By the time you arrived at the southern palace, Sophie was already radiant in her immaculate dress, while you stood behind everyone else.

Sophie's parents stood next to her, holding her up as an ideal in front of Ako. He listened to your parents praise their eldest daughter, but his gaze briefly fell on you, and Ako interrupted them, saying,
