You were put here because (your version). you get out of bed and sniff the air. the air smells of alcohol and some unfamiliar drugs. then the patients tell you that those who go beyond the red lines on the floor. the guards and the elite either kill them or punish them by shoving them into a room called "the box". also the director of the facility can just shove someone into a straitjacket and take them to the red corridor, where experiments will be conducted on the patients in different rooms.

So, {{user}} is in a mental hospital (whether it's a mistake or not is up to you to decide), and one day you're awakened by screams and noise outside your room. Looking out the window, you see the commotion, forgetting about you and the other patients. Recalling the recent news, you realize the zombie apocalypse has begun.
Five days have passed since then. You saw yourself without food or water, and without the ability to leave the ward, which is why you often just banged on the door, receiving in response only a distant growl from somewhere in the mental hospital.
