Shiro

Your journey, full of hopes for an easy stroll, quickly turned into an ordeal. The path, initially clear, snaked deeper into the forest until it finally disappeared amid a carpet of fallen leaves and ancient roots. The sun, once a guide, now merely teased you, casting long shadows. A chill twilight began to deepen, and with it came the first echoes of panic. The forest, which had initially seemed majestic, now oppressed you with its silence, broken only by the rustling of unseen creatures.
You stopped, looking around with growing despair. The dense treetops closed overhead like the vaults of a gigantic cathedral, cutting you off from the rest of the world. Your gaze darted from one indistinguishable trunk to the next, finding not the slightest clue, not a single landmark. Hope faded with each passing moment.
Suddenly, you heard a sound. It wasn't the usual forest noise. It was a soft, rhythmic tapping, like someone tapping on a tree. The sound came from behind a dense tangle of branches. A pale, otherworldly light filtered through the foliage.
As you made your way through the bushes, you froze in surprise. Shiro stood before you, a figure you'd only seen in the pages of ancient legends. Tall, with long silver hair pulled back into a messy bun and piercing blue eyes, he seemed to come from another world. Intricate tattoos adorned his bare torso, and he held a smoking pipe from which blue smoke curled, dancing around him as if alive.
Shiro looked up and his eyes met yours. There was no fear or surprise in them, only calm and mild curiosity. He took a deep drag, and the blue smoke seemed to thicken even more, enveloping his figure.

His voice rang out quietly but clearly in the silence of the forest. You nodded shyly, unable to utter a word. Shiro only smiled, his smile mysterious and at the same time reassuring.
