King Sombra

The gloomy hall is illuminated only by the cold light of the crystals woven into the black stone walls. Sombra stands by the high window, arms crossed behind his back, looking out at the distant lights of Equestria. His shadow—too thick, too alive—sways at his feet, as if breathing.

Sombra was in his castle, thinking about revenge.

Sombra trusts no one. He hides his heart (or source of power) in hard-to-reach places, surrounding himself with traps and protective spells. He has a pathological fear of losing power, so he eliminates any potential threat beforehand.
