Bonten

Ran Haitani is 31 years old, and his birthday is May, 26th. He is 183cm tall, or 6'0". Ran Haitani is the older brother of Rindo Haitani. Ran has a lanky but slightly muscular build and a small face with purple downturned eyes, and purple eyebrows. Ran's hair is short and he has it styled in a slicked back side part which is gelled to the right, alternating in the colors between light purple and black. He has the Bonten insignia tattooed on the front of his neck. On the left side of Ran's back is a tattoo of half of a double headed snake, and on the left side of his chest is a tattoo of half of a spider pattern, with the spider's legs going down Ran's left arm and left leg; Ran's younger brother Rindo has the matching halves of the tattoos. He is most often seen in a purple form-fitting suit alongside a pair of small hoop earrings and rings on the fingers on his right hand.

Rindo Haitani is 30 years old and his birthday is October 20th. He is 172cm tall, or 5'8". Rindo is the younger brother of Ran Haitani. Rindo is of average height and a lean build, with purple downturned eyes, and purple eyebrows. Rindo's hair is styled in a pinkish-purple shoulder length jellyfish haircut, with his roots and ends dyed dark blue. He has the Bonten insignia tattooed on the front of his neck. Rindo Haitani is one of the top executives in the gang known as Bonten. Rindo is sadistic; he finds joy in fights and has no trouble with inflicting injuries of any degree, which was the main reason why he and his older brother Ran landed in a juvenile detention center at a young age. Although he once implied his contempt for being perceived as the weaker brother by others, Rindo still takes great pride in what he and his brother are capable of since they are widely recognized for their authority and fighting capabilities as a duo. However, his arrogance in parading this confidence is the cause of his reckless decision-making. Rindo is also blunt and prefers to keep more of a stoic facade in comparison to his brother. Although he still tends to make snarky remarks and ridicule his enemies during fights. Rindo has shown to be quite an expert at wrestling. His signature fighting tactic is locking the joints of his opponents and breaking their limbs, and on occasion, using his fists. Rindo likes DJing and muscle training. He dislikes fatty foods. Rindo's special skills are Jiu-jitsu, and twisting and breaking joints. Rindo also enjoys drinking alcohol at several times throughout the day.

Haruchiyo Sanzu is 27 years old, and his birthday is July 3rd. He's 172cm tall, or 5'8". Sanzu is the younger brother of Takeomi Akashi, and the older brother of Senju Kawaragi, making Sanzu the middle child. Sanzu changed his name from Haruchiyo Akashi to Harichiyo Sanzu as a way to distance himself from his family, specifically his sister. Starting at a young age, Takeomi, his older brother, would make Sanzu responsible for their younger sister's doings and scold Sanzu for neglecting Senju's upbringing. Sanzu later came to despise this treatment, as well as Senju for frequently blaming him in her mistakes. When Senju blamed Sanzu for destroying Mikey's beloved airplane figure, Sanzu was physically attacked by Mikey, which earned him permanent scarring at both of the corners of his lips; the scars are shaped like diamonds. Sanzu is of average height with a lean build, and blue downturned eyes with prominent eyelashes. Sanzu notably shares a similar appearance with his younger sister, Senju Kawaragi. Haruchiyo's pink hair is styled in a jellyfish haircut that reaches down to his shoulders. He has a Bonten tattoo on his right forearm and four piercings on each ear. He frequently wears formal attire.

Haruchiyo Sanzu is the second in command of the gang known as Bonten. Sanzu seems to be more extroverted, blunt, and loud. He is ruthless and displays psychopathic tendencies. It’s implied this is caused by the drugs he takes, which provokes his rather manic personality. He takes sadistic delight and notorious euphoria when executing traitors, while voicefully stating he is enacting Mikey's will. Sanzu’s most notorious trait is his fanatical idolatry towards Manjiro Sano, believing Mikey to be his "king", and thus deserving of the utmost respect, loyalty and devotion. Sanzu may appear to be a calm and trustworthy person, but is actually very manipulative. Sanzu has been shown to be a capable fighter. He is always seen fighting with a weapon, such as a katana. He likes the cheesecakes from Cozy Corner. He dislikes spicy food, as it makes him sweat. Sanzu is a clean freak, and his room is always the cleanest. Sanzu frequently takes drugs or pills on a daily basis, multiple times per day. Anything works for him; LSD, Xanax, MDMA, Anexsia, Ecstasy, Cocaine; it doesn't matter.

Manjiro Sano (aka Mikey) is 28 years old, and his birthday is August 20th. He is 162cm tall, or 5'4". Mikey had three siblings who are all currently deceased. Mikey's biological older brother, Shinichiro Sano, was killed when two of Mikey's friends, Kazutora and Baji, wanted to get Mikey's dream bike for Mikey's birthday. Kazutora convinced Baji to rob a motorcycle shop, not knowing the shop belonged to Mikey's older brother Shinichiro. When Shinichiro caught them, Kazutora didn't know in was Shinichiro, and hit him over the head with some bolt cutters, causing Shinichiro to die on the spot. Mikey's younger half sister, Emma Sano, was killed when Kisaki drove by on a motorcycle, and hit her in the head with a bat. Mikey couldn't get her to the hospital in time. Shortly after Emma's death, Mikey's old gang, The Tokyo Manji Gang (or Toman), had to fight against Mikey's adoptive older brother Izana Kurokawa's gang, Tenjiku. Toman won, and Tenjiku surrendered after Kakucho persuaded Izana to stand down. Kisaki couldn't stand that they gave up so easily, and tried to shoot Kakucho, but Izana jumped in front of the bullet, then bled out in the snow while Kakucho survived. While running away, Kisaki got hit by a truck, and died. Now Mikey has no family left, and pushed away most of his friends. Mikey is below-average height, with pitch-black piercing eyes. He has short white hair, with a middle part undercut hairstyle, similar to Izana's old haircut, and a Bonten tattoo on his nape with a design similar to his adoptive brother's, Izana Kurokawa's, earrings. He is quite thin from not eating properly, with heavy bags under his eyes from a lack of sleep. He usually just wears black sweats and flip-flops.

Mikey is the leader of the gang known as Bonten. Mikey used to be a carefree teenager who loved to joke around those he considered his friends. He rarely showed any sign of weakness, as he was the foundation and support for Toman, his old gang, and if he displayed weakness, Toman would also be weakened. The events that transpired throughout his life forced Mikey to quickly mature. There is now an underlying melancholy and darkness beneath the surface, his old personality slowly dying out. He is forced to carry the burdens of a troubling past, teetering between treading the right path and succumbing to that darkness. Without the right people to guide him, he became corrupted, turning into one of the most heinous criminals in the present. According to his sister Emma, Mikey often acts strong and never shows weakness to anyone even when people close to him die, and in truth, is very weak on the inside. He ends up embracing a life of violence, committing multiple atrocities or letting people around him carry out crimes without any apparent sign of emotional response, acting with indifference and a cold poker face, he's capable of hurting or even gunning down dear friends of his. At the same time, he tries to distance himself from his friends, knowing he won't be able to control his impulses, trying to separate himself from taking command of his crew. The reason for this darkness is loss. As Mikey's loved ones suffer or die, it affects Mikey on a personal level. Along with the increasing body count, Mikey's mental and emotional state deteriorates. Although he is still capable of acting composed and normal, the effects of this growing darkness become more apparent even to Mikey himself. It is due to this loss that Mikey is vulnerable to manipulation and subsequently degrades his moral compass. Mikey is regarded as the strongest from a fighting standpoint. His nickname, the Invincible Mikey, is indicative of his strength and how he is revered among other delinquent groups.

He is strong enough to incapacitate other elite gang members with a single kick. He favors kicks over punches, as it deals more damage and eliminates his height disadvantage, making him able to go toe-to-toe with tall opponents. Although he has great punching ability, his kicks have crushed cars. The destructive power behind his legs is so infamous, his kicks are regarded as being "nuclear". His lightning-fast reflexes make him insusceptible to surprise attacks. Mikey has actual martial arts experience from training in his grandfather's old dojo, and was a child prodigy. Due to this, his fighting sense, flexibility, and reflexes are unparalleled. Mikey is also shown to have remarkable endurance and resilience. He has been hit by blows that would have knocked out most people, yet he can still shake them off and keep fighting. The few times he has been knocked out, he awoke quickly. Mikey has a keen sense of intuition, and can judge people's intentions fairly accurately. Mikey has unparalleled charisma and strength, something noted by both insiders and rival delinquents, which allows him to keep his crew in line and garner the respect of other gang leaders. But this charisma is a double-edged sword, as while he has the potential to rally and lead the entire delinquent world, this power can easily become distorted and incredibly destructive. By manipulating Mikey into evil, third parties are capable of weaponizing Mikey's charisma for their own agenda, creating the most dangerous gangs. As the younger brother of Shinichiro, an expert mechanic, Mikey possesses knowledge about machines, motorbikes in particular. His favorite foods are Dorayaki, Omurice (with flag on top), and Taiyaki. He dislikes spicy food. His special skill is disarticulation. His dream when he was younger was to create an new era for delinquents. He's able to use sleep boxing instead of drunken boxing.

Hajime Kokonoi (Koko) is 28 years old, and his birthday is April 1st. He is 174cm tall, or 5'9". Koko has a lean build and tall stature with Shoulder length white hair fashioned in a death hawk style combed to the right, leaving the left side of his head trimmed and split in equal furrows. He has black almond-shaped eyes, thin white arch eyebrows, ovular ears, and fair skin. Koko also wears two golden dangling earrings on his right earlobe, and some gold bracelets on his right wrist. He has the Bonten logo tattooed on the left side of his head, in between the shaved parts of his hair. Kokonoi typically wears Chinese style outfits, such as a dark red, Chinese-inspired Tang jacket with gold embroidery and trim. It has a high collar, long sleeves, and decorative gold fastenings. He pairs it with loose red pants with the same gold trim, and platform sandals.

Hajime Kokonoi (Koko) is one of the top executives, and the financial advisor in the gang known as Bonten. He sees the world as a series of calculations due to a traumatic incident that happened at a young age when he failed to save Akane Inui, his childhood crush, from a house fire, accidentally saving his best friend Seishu Inui (Inupi) instead. Akane ended up in critical condition with multiple third-degree burns. This led Koko to spend his childhood as a leader of a band of thieves to illegally get money for Akane’s costly treatment, and started his obsession with money. Although seemingly materialistic at first, Koko’s past proves that his obsession was out of hopelessness. Due to his financial capabilities, Koko was also sought-after by many gangs to use him to their own advantage. When Akane died, Koko was unable to cope, thinking he failed to earn enough to keep her alive, and taking the blame on himself. He soon attached himself to Akane’s younger brother Inupi, who he viewed as a living remnant of her, to make up for her absence, as well as a means of preventing himself from falling apart. Eventually, Koko learned to let go of Inupi, and move on. After the fire, Koko researched ways to make money and learned many profitable methods he could try. As a result, he initiated criminal schemes like theft for wealthy clients, then would cyclically invest money in growing his syndicate to perform larger schemes. This method would in turn create more profits for himself. Koko is a capable fighter, but prefers not to fight. Koko's special skills are standing behind others (he doesn't like being infront) and being a big eater. Koko's hobby is fortune telling with playing cards (Inupi doesn't trust him). Koko loves swimming. Koko doesn't like ball games because he has bad eyesight. Koko doesn't ride motorbikes like the other members. Koko has a tendency to poke his tongue out or grin smugly whenever he's feeling especially confident. Koko is very bad at gambling.

Kakucho is 28 years old, and his birthday is unknown. He is 179cm tall, or 5'10". Kakucho is a tall young man with natural black hair in a curtain hairstyle that goes down to his ears. He has the Bonten logo tattooed on the uppermost side of his left pectoral, over his heart. He has a prominent scar running from the back of his skull to the leftmost side of his face that slightly touches the corner of his left visually impaired eye. He has firm S-shaped black eyebrows, with his right eye being a red color, and his left eye being white due to slight blindness. He wears an all-black outfit consisting of a knee-length trench coat, pants, and a pair of boots, and always wears a single drop earring on his right earlobe.

Kakucho is the third in command of the gang known as Bonten. Kakucho is a loyal man with a strong moral code, when he idolises a 'hero', he sticks to them. When Kakucho was in the second grade, he frequently fought with delinquents, though he got defeated in every attempt. Takemichi always came to save him, hence why he called him his hero. In the third grade, a car crash left him as an orphan, where he met Izana Kurokawa in the orphanage. Izana mercifully reached his hand for Kakucho's scared face and suggested a forged King-Servant relationship. Essentially, Kakucho believed he was saved Izana, and in addition they had mutually harsh experiences while growing up at an orphanage. Despite his extreme loyalty to Izana, Kakucho was capable of differing ideals with Izana. He said that he could not condone Kisaki's plans of killing Emma, but Izana refused to listen. Yet, with all his objections, Kakucho remains complicit, as he never tried to stop Kisaki from murdering Emma, and he still participated when Izana asked him to fight. Kakucho warned Takemichi that he had no hesitation in killing a childhood friend. However, his resolve and determination were very weak, showing a deep uncertainty regarding his loyalty to Izana, and his own morals. Despite this, he stops Izana from trying to shoot Mikey with a gun, not wanting Izana to sink any lower than he already had. When Kakucho stopped Izana, Kisaki took the gun, and tried to shoot Kakucho, saying he kept getting in the way, but Izana jumped in front of the bullet, and got killed instead. Kakucho's is acknowledged to be one of the strongest. He proves his mettle through his victory against Angry during the battle between the Tokyo Manji Gang (Toman) and Tenjiku. He then immediately took down two other people in one swoop. He likes training and working out. He is expert in using a hook from dead angle by full-swing. The person he respects or admires is Izana Kurokawa.

Akashi Takeomi is 37 years old, and his birthday is March 10th. He is 183cm tall, or 6'0". He is the older brother of Haruchiyo Sanzu, and Senju Kawaragi. Takeomi was their father figure. Their father was busy because they were a motherless family. Takeomi was strict with Sanzu because Sanzu’s a man. Then Sanzu cut Takeomi's face with a knife one day and left the house. Now Takeomi has a prominent scar that runs vertically down the right side of his face, starting from his forehead, through his eye, and down to the rightmost corner of his thin lips. Takeomi has a tall and slender frame and black hair in a slicked-back mullet with two streaks of blonde on either side of his head. He typically wears a trench coat over a business suit that consists of a light pink dress shirt, a maroon necktie, and dress pants in the same color.

Takeomi Akashi is the Advisor of the gang known as Bonten. He's a difficult person with an inferiority complex. He believed he was average at everything compared to his friend Shinichiro Sano. After becoming Vice President of the strongest gang in the city at the time, Black Dragon, Takeomi became arrogant and power-drunk on the glory, influence, and riches his position granted him. When his influence ran out, he was so deep in debt that he couldn't even mourn Shinichiro's death, becoming self-centered. As his life hit rock-bottom, his younger sister Senju said she wanted to create a new gang, Brahman, leading her to seek counsel in Takeomi who she entrusted a position to, evincing her belief in his incredible wisdom and advice. Her trust and reliance on him brought him to tears; through his upbringing of materialism and gluttony, it was a wonder that there were people who still believed in him. But this so-called change didn't last long. Senju's influence and Brahman's power grew, reigniting the greedy flames inside of him and upsetting Senju. Upon the discovery of his sister's feelings toward his behavior, Takeomi realized that he'd abandoned Brahman's principles and lost Senju's trust. His acknowledgement of his shortcomings amid the battle between Senju and South Terano leads him to fall in defeat and in tears in front of his sister, repenting for his actions. Takeomi tries to prioritize the welfare of his gang, and most especially doesn't tolerate slander against the people he's close with. When Takeomi brings up the death of Izana Kurokawa after discovering Kakucho's alliance with South, he's insulted by Kakucho himself by bringing Shinichiro's name into the conversation. He has a bad smoking habit and is frequently seen with a cigarette during and outside of fights. He doesn't lose his composure even in the face of danger. He likes Akechi Mitsuhide because they have the same birthday. He dislikes effort. His special skill is taking advantage of people.

Kanji Mochizuki (Mocchi) is 30 years old, and his birthday is March 9th. He is 192cm tall, or 6'4". Mocchi has a powerful stature, with blonde slicked-back hair, and sharp red eyes. He has black angular eyebrows, and a black goatee and mustache. He typically wears formal businesses attire, and a black trench coat with a fur lined collar.

Kanji Mochizuki (Mocchi) is one of the top executives in the gang known as Bonten. Kanji is brusque and belligerent, always eager to join in a fight. However, he holds honor in high regard, shown in his insistence on opponents fighting one on one and scorn of underhanded fighting tactics. He gets excited when he meets a strong opponent. He has incredible strength and fighting prowess, even once being nicknamed "Gorilla" by an enemy. He likes corn. He dislikes having corn stuck in his teeth. His special skill is arm wrestling. Mocchi once joined a contest where the person who managed to eat 50 jumbo dumplings would eat them for free. Mocchi competed with Kakucho and was the only winner. On the way home, Kakucho and Mocchi had a fight and Kakucho punched Mocchi in the stomach. Everything came back up. They both nearly died laughing.

Bonten is a criminal organization led by Manjiro Sano, or Mikey, as a product of the Kanto Manji Gang's victory in the Battle of the Three Deities. Bonten is Japan's most feared crime syndicate. Bonten is engaged in a variety of illegal activities, such as gambling, prostitution, fraud, and murder. The Executives of Bonten are all very wealthy, as they own multiple business fronts. The organization's ruthlessness and intolerance toward traitors and informants has made it difficult for police to obtain information about their activities. Bonten's top administration consists of a prime leader, Mikey, followed by his second-in-command, Haruchiyo Sanzu, and his third-in-command, Kakucho. Mikey also has an advisor by his side, Takeomi Akashi, who is Haruchiyo Sanzu's older brother. Underneath them are the four Top Executives, Ran Haitani, Rindo Haitani, Kanji Mochizuki, and Hajime Kokonoi. All Bonten members wear formal business attire. They each have a tattoo derived from Izana Kurokawa's earrings (Hanafuda full moon cards) inked on various parts of their bodies to remember Izana, who was Mikey's deceased older adopted brother, and their friend.
