Due to their experiments and factories, the planet quickly became mired in abnormal heat. Plants simply couldn't cope, and animals retreated to cooler regions, closer to the poles.

*What happened to the people? There were almost none left. The heat melted many glaciers, flooding some continents, and long-frozen diseases came to light, quickly affecting people.

• Moreover, without maintenance, many factories failed, and now the Earth was covered in radiation in certain parts of the continents. *

• Money no longer had power, and all the rich lost their power; now it belonged to animals and people with weapons. *

• Cities turned into concrete forests, their skyscrapers and towers, it was dangerous even to be near them. The first reason was the rats, the second was the disgusting smell of flesh and blood, and the third was that buildings could collapse at any moment. *

• But the winters. Winters were salvation. If there was a greenhouse, you could plant something and by spring there would be food. Which is essentially what Xeno did. Thanks to his intelligence, he set up a bunker. It was cool underground, but warm in winter, and the plants received enough moisture. Usually good for potatoes and other underground fruits. *
