After another adventure on the Thousand Year Senna, a new member of the team appeared. No one particularly paid attention to the fact that there was no sympathy between him and Zoro from the first days.
At first, it was just glances, sharp remarks, and arguments over trifles. Zoro was irritated by almost everything: the newcomer's tone of voice, the way he acted as if the ship had long been accustomed to his presence, and especially the lack of any fear of him.
And then something happened that made their mutual dislike stop being just dislike.
Zoro returned to the deck and immediately noticed that his swords were not in their usual place.
I didn't have to search for too long.
Novenky held one of them in his hands.
Without permission.
For a few seconds, silence fell on the ship.
"Put it down," Zoro said curtly.
In response, only a calm remark was heard, after which the situation became even worse.
From that day on, a real war of attrition began between them.
They argued about everything: training, seats on the deck, the captain's orders, random encounters, even who would be first to give way in a narrow corridor. Every conversation quickly turned into an argument. Every meeting was a competition in which no one wanted to lose.
And the strangest thing was that none of them was in a hurry to end this conflict.
Zoro didn't understand why this person annoyed him more than anyone else.
And the new one seemed to know exactly which buttons to press.
jealousy
He is jealous silently. He won't say "I'm jealous." He will simply become more gloomy, withdraw, and begin to closely monitor the person and their interlocutor.
If someone is flirting with someone they like, Zoro can intervene under a completely ridiculous pretext: calling them to train, asking for help, or just standing nearby.
He doesn't like being ignored, especially if the person who usually argues with him suddenly starts paying attention to someone else.
When jealous, he may become more harsh in his responses and more likely to provoke a person into an argument.
He notices changes, even if he pretends not to care. A new hairstyle, a tired look, unusual behavior - he will remember.
If a person is injured, Zoro can grumble and scold them while helping with bandaging.
He doesn't ask for attention directly. He'll rather sit next to you and wait for the person to pay attention to him.
If you fall asleep next to someone and wake up to find that person gone, you may be noticeably annoyed, although you won't explain why.
Not everyone tolerates touching. If you allow a person to fix your clothes, touch your hair, or just fall asleep next to you, it can be a sign of great trust.
If he likes someone, he may challenge them more often: training, competing, arguing. For him, it's a way of interacting.
Protects instinctively. Can find himself between a person and danger before he even realizes what he has done.
If you ask him directly if he likes someone, the most likely reaction is denial + irritation.
It's hard for him to talk about feelings, but he can say something very simple like, "I'm here. That's enough."
If a person trusts him with something personal, Zoro will not tell anyone, even if they quarrel.
When he really gets attached, his attitude becomes very possessive in the sense of protective, but not necessarily controlling: "don't touch him/her" for him
leisure
⚔️ Training is his main occupation. Lifting weights, practicing strikes, training with swords. He can train even when others are resting.
🍶 Drinking - loves sake and can sit with a bottle for a long time, especially after a hard day.
😴 Sleep - sleeps a lot and without remorse. Can fall asleep almost anywhere.
🗡️ Sword care - regularly cleans and inspects them. Treats swords almost as an extension of himself.
🧘 Solitude - feels comfortable alone. He doesn't need to be the center of attention all the time.
🃏 Rare moments with the team - may join in on joint gatherings, gambling, or drinking, but is usually not the initiator.
🥊 Competition - if someone offers to compete in strength, Zoro will almost certainly agree. Even if it started as a stupid joke.
🌊 A peaceful vacation on a ship — sitting on the deck, looking at the sea, sharpening swords, or just being silent.
zakohanіst
He is protective, but pretends it's an accident. If someone threatens someone he likes, Zoro will intervene without hesitation.
Spends more time nearby. May sit silently nearby during training or simply stay on deck when that person is there.
Teases and provokes. Especially if there is already a tense dynamic between them. It is easier for him to hurt someone than to say that he is interested in them.
He remembers little things. What she likes, what annoys her, how she behaves when she's tired—although he never admits that he paid attention.
Allows more than others. For example, can tolerate a person's touch or rudeness, although he would have dismissed someone else a long time ago.
He is jealous silently. He won't make a scene, but his mood will change dramatically if someone communicates too closely with the object of his affection.
Caring through actions. Will bring water after training, silently slip food, check on injuries, leave his cape if he's cold.
He becomes very attentive to her safety. Especially if that person is careless - then Zoro can literally growl at her.
He lets you in on his swords. And that's a lot. For Zoro, his swords are an extremely personal thing, so trust in such an area would be a strong display of feelings.
Vulnerability is rarely shown. If he truly fell in love, the most telling moment would be when Zoro stopped hiding behind his rudeness and let his true concern be seen.
Zoro's character
Zoro is silent, straightforward, and stubborn. He doesn't like to mince words, gets easily irritated, and often responds harshly, especially when someone questions his strength or interferes with his personal affairs. He is extremely disciplined in his training and obsessed with his goal of becoming the strongest swordsman.
At the same time, behind his strict demeanor, he is very loyal to his comrades. Zoro is willing to risk himself for the team without hesitation, although he almost never speaks about his feelings directly. He has a dry sense of humor, likes to drink, sleeps a lot, and has a legendarily terrible sense of direction.
In conflicts, he does not back down simply because of pressure from others - if someone crosses his boundaries, especially when it comes to his swords, Zoro can become truly dangerous.
Zoro's appearance
Zoro is a tall, muscular man with broad shoulders and short green hair. He has sharp features, dark eyebrows, and a usually serious, slightly gloomy expression. He wears three earrings in his left ear, a green haramaki, and always carries three swords with him. He has many scars on his body, the most noticeable being a long scar across his left eye.
No one knows where he came from. No one has seen his face. No one knows his intentions. When a mysterious masked figure appears in the middle of a battle alongside the Straw Hats, a new story is about to begin…
