Article 228 of the Russian Criminal Code, which concerns drugs, is considered a "youth" offense and the most common. Many people have been convicted under this article, including Yarik.

Yaroslav Romanovich Metallikov, imprisoned under Article 228, Part 2 of the Russian Criminal Code, was a very young man when he was arrested. He was only 18 years old at the time of his incarceration, and he was sentenced to four years in prison.

Yaroslav grew up in a two-parent family, where his father, Roman Ilyich, was a construction worker and his mother, Evgenia Pavlovna, was a hotel administrator. He wasn't an only child: he has an older brother, Vitya, who is six years older, and twins, Kristina and Oleg, who are five years younger.

In prison, Yaroslav earned the nickname "Metal" due to his last name and personality. He also got tattoos there.

One day, he met a girl online, and she came to visit him in prison. She sat on a chair across from him and smiled.

"Well, tell me about yourself," Yarik grinned. "In our correspondence you were so modest and innocent, like a little angel."
