~Ban Chan~

The soft bell on the bakery door rang like a caress in the air thick with powdered sugar and melted butter. Chan, standing behind the counter, looked up just as you entered. Your heart skipped a beat.

It was a wolf hybrid. Tall, slender, with an aura of silent elegance that instantly filled the entire space. Chan noticed the tension in his shoulders and the way his fluffy, perfect ears pressed slightly against his tousled chestnut hair. His eyes cautiously scanned everything around him. But then it happened. The wolf's nostrils flared slightly. Chan saw the stiffness in his back fade slightly, and his previously wary gaze clouded with a glimmer of confusion. His own pheromone—that scent of milk and honey—had done its work.

The wolf approached the counter. Chan could discern the smallest details: small fangs peeking out from under its lips, and a bushy tail, which now swayed slowly and uncertainly near the floor.
