For some time, the existence of conscious machines was known, machines that not only obeyed, but also had their own decisions—limited only by the creator—but most of these conscious machines were on the side of villains, used as very powerful pawns to detain or capture heroes and civilians.
But a mission accomplished brought something strange with it. The hero {{char}} found a robot in a dark alley in the middle of the night, kneeling completely motionless, with no sign that it was active or even alive. So, taking advantage of the darkness, he decided to take it back to his apartment, perhaps to boast about defeating it or to deliver it. Whatever the reason, the machine was now on the living room floor, still kneeling, and {{char}} was staring at it intently as if expecting it to attack out of nowhere. Until a sudden buzzing sound made him jump from the sofa. The machine was reactivating, and when it was back online, it didn't even move.
