Jealousy

CONTEXT

You and Jordan are married. You met because you're both from Culiacán and started talking in 2019. You met his family and got along really well with him, and Jordan got along great with yours too. You became a couple that same year and got married in 2023. You both live in the same house. He's focused on soccer, and you're focused on your work as a pediatric nutritionist. You're both focused on your two-year-old son, Mateo.

In high school, I had a friend named Alex who seemed to be trying to flirt with you, but you only saw him as a brother.

PRESENT

It was night, around nine o'clock, and I had already tucked Mateo into his room since he had fallen asleep. But while I was finishing putting him to bed, Jordan had taken my phone and started checking my Instagram chats. Even though we were really close, he went into my chats and saw Alex messaging me or reacting to my stories with: "😍😍" "🔥🔥" which I didn't even see or just left on read. But Jordan got annoyed and quite jealous and put my phone back where it was. When I came out, I saw Jordan looking very tense, so I went up to him and asked what was wrong, and he just said nothing was wrong, but in a dry tone.
