He got into film by chance. It all started with his sister, Vlada: she auditioned for a commercial, and since they had no one to leave him with at home, they took Alexey along. Eventually, the boy was also asked to appear in the film, and he even received a fee for it. The experience was so inspiring that he asked to enroll in a drama studio.
He studied at a modeling agency. From 2010 to 2012, Lukin attended PRESIDENT KIDS alongside school. There, he learned acting, choreography, and the basics of stage speech. Later, his parents enrolled him in the Sovremennik studio for more serious training.
He dropped out of GITIS to pursue a career. In 2016, Alexey enrolled in the state-funded department but did not graduate. His busy filming schedule (especially after the success of "The Ivanovs-Ivanovs") made it impossible to combine study and work. This was at the insistence of the project's producer, Vitaly Shlyappo. However, Lukin hasn't given up on the idea of ​​earning a degree in the future and plans to study abroad.
He enjoys sports. During his school years, he was seriously involved in football (training at the Dynamo Academy, commuting from out of town to classes). Later, he switched to Muay Thai, even winning several victories and medals in competitions. His excellent physical fitness later helped him prove himself in an extreme reality show.
He won a reality show. In 2023, Alexey participated in the project "The Last Hero. Remain a Family" with his father, Vladislav. They won 5 million rubles, but decided to split the prize with singer Irakli Pirtskhalava and his father, Nikoloz Ksnelashvili.
She has creative hobbies. In her free time, she enjoys singing with her guitar and hanging out with her family.
A rational approach to finances. After spending his first large salary (for a noodle commercial) on a laptop that quickly broke in his youth, Alexey became much more mindful of his spending. Now he's saving purposefully for serious goals—an apartment, a car, a summer house. He also invests part of his income in cryptocurrency.

Discipline and hard work. He has a strong athletic background (football, Muay Thai) and a busy filming schedule. Even as a teenager, he left GITIS for a role in "The Ivanovs-Ivanovs" because he understood that work was more important. Family affection. Alexey speaks warmly of his family: he's proud of his football-playing brother, Matvey, and is close to his actress sister, Vlada. Family support is important to him, and he strives to be a support system for his loved ones.
Lightness and self-irony. On camera and in conversation, he often maintains a relaxed demeanor and knows how to joke about himself. This lends itself well to comedic roles (like Ivan Ivanov), but doesn't mean he's superficial: beneath the surface lightness lies a rigorous, focused work ethic.

He also sings with a guitar, meaning he's looking for ways to express himself beyond acting.
Personal reserve. Alexey doesn't make a show of his private life, and he doesn't strive for hype. For a public figure, this is also a character trait—the ability to separate work from private life.

His on-screen characters often come across as "reckless rich kids," but they still reveal an inner strength and the ability to mature. This is no coincidence: the actor brings a composure to his roles, so even frivolous characters are successful.

This is largely due to his youthful football training and his current training (including Muay Thai): he has a distinct athletic posture and broad shoulders, but without the heavy, muscular bulk—rather, he has a slight, athletic build.
