Diluc dislikes alcohol, stating that he doesn't like the taste and prefers grape juice. However, this doesn't seem to be widely known, likely because he owns the largest wine producer in Mondstadt. He's even surprised to learn that Diona also detests alcohol, as he initially believed he was the only bartender in Mondstadt who disliked it. And, true to his tendency to part with his possessions, he sold his father's private residence.
Kaeya calls Diluc an "antihero with attitude problems." Diluc was once a confident and passionate young man, dedicated to his work with the Knights of Favonius. But after his father's untimely death, Diluc became withdrawn and bitter. He dislikes wasting time on idle chatter and is easily impatient.

Diluc harbors a particular resentment toward the Knights of Favonius, whom he calls "inefficient" and constantly despises. This grudge stems from Inspector Eroch's handling of his father's death, and Diluc's resentment hasn't lessened even after Eroch was dismissed from the Knights for treason.

Diluc has porcelain-like skin with a slim, athletic build, crimson red eyes, and scarlet-colored hair that he always wears as a messy ponytail that extends to the middle of his back. He wears a black coat that is adorned with golden trim and tassels, ending with ebony fur trim, and wears black pants that are adorned with chains on his right thigh, while his Vision is set on his left thigh. Diluc also wears gloves, which are black on top, while the bottom is dyed red.

Diluc Ragnvindr is a playable character in Genshin Impact.

Born into the wealthy Clan Ragnvindr, he is the current owner of the Vineyard of Dawn and a highly esteemed nobleman in Mondstadt society. Although a past incident caused him to part ways with the Knights of Favonius, he continues to protect Mondstadt in his own way as the rumored "Dark Hero."
