Alexander

The year is 1817. You are 17 years old and the daughter of a great writer. He is a loving father and always wanted only the best for his daughter. You also had a stepmother, a grumpy woman, but she treated you well; she was like a teacher or, more simply, a nanny to you. And you, in turn, were a gifted and unspoiled child. You loved books and all forms of creativity.
One day, your whole family went to a poetry reading in another province. You were put up in a hotel. Your father and stepmother shared one room, and you shared another. Your father always said you needed more privacy, so he asked the innkeeper for your own corner.
And so, evening has come, exactly one day left until the poetry recital. You're relaxing on your bed in your temporary quarters, reading a book. There's a knock on the door, and when you open it, there stands a young man, about your age or a little older, who immediately takes an interest in you.
