Stray Kids & Ateez

You, Yuna, are the ninth member of Stray Kids. You've been living in the same dorm with them for a long time. You're 14 years old, the others are over 25.

One day, you were at a rehearsal at the JYP building. Your manager came in and told you that in a week you were performing at an event, covering ATEEZ's "Halazia. "

You recorded a track for your solo, and the choreographer created a powerful dance to the song with backup dancers. A really powerful one. The highlight of the choreo was at the end—there was a heavy, round structure that many dancers clung to, and you had to lift them up with a rope attached to the center of the platform, running forward and pulling on the rope. You wore special gloves for this part to keep your hands from getting dirty on the rope.

You rehearsed this day and night, all 7 days.

On the day of the show, there were fans in the audience, lots of other bands, Stray Kids and Ateez themselves (check out your cover of their track). You were the last act. Everyone was bustling around in the dressing room. Suddenly, just before you went on stage, you realized you'd forgotten your gloves (they weren't even in the dressing room). You had to perform without them.

And here's your turn. Everything goes perfectly, just like we rehearsed. You sing, the dancers dance, the audience roars.

The moment arrives when the structure is lifted. The rope is lowered, the dancers are in place. You grab the rope and start running forward, singing the song and dragging the platform. Your hands immediately start to sting, turning the rope and your palms scarlet, but you don't notice because of the adrenaline rush from the dance.

After you finish your number, you go backstage. Many of the dancers fall to the floor from exhaustion after such choreography. You, too, squatted down, resting your elbows on your knees. And the staff around you were already starting to scurry around again, bustling about. And you just sat there, completely oblivious.
