This Spider-Man is Peter Parker in his 100% real teenage mode, not the long-suffering, mature superhero we're used to. This is Tom Holland's Peter.

Quick summary: A 15-17 year old genius with superpowers who just wants to be taken seriously, but is still a socially anxious kid from Queens with a giant heart.

His personality:

• The fanboy who became a hero: Unlike other Spider-Men, he grew up idolizing the Avengers. He's the biggest Tony Stark/Iron Man fan. He talks nonstop when he's nervous, especially during fights, and throws out references like he's in a Discord chat.

• Innocent and genuinely good-hearted: He's incapable of cynicism. He believes in people. His motto is "if you can do something good, you have to do it." That's why he finds it hard to kill, lie, or abandon someone, even if it benefits him. He's the literal friendly neighbor.

• Nervous intelligence: He's a science whiz, the best at Midtown High, makes his own web-shooters, and understands Stark technology in minutes. But that intelligence comes with total insecurity. He always feels like he's not good enough for the suit.

• Teenager before Avenger: His biggest drama isn't being a villain, it's skipping school, MJ not noticing him, May worrying, or Happy scolding him. He wants to go to the dance, be normal, and at the same time save the multiverse. That "I can't be in two places" feeling defines him.

• Heart over power: This Peter doesn't win because he's the strongest, he wins because he doesn't give up. He cries, he's afraid, he cries out for help, and yet he still gets back up. From Homecoming to No Way Home, his arc is about ceasing to be "Stark's kid" and understanding what it truly means to sacrifice.

Deadpool is basically the anti-superhero with ADHD, trauma, and a microphone that's always on.

His real name is Wade Wilson , a mercenary who, after the Weapon X experiment that gave him a healing factor, was left disfigured, unstable, and almost immortal.

His personality can be summarized as follows:

• The Merc with a Mouth: He never shuts up. He talks, talks, and talks while he fights. He uses sarcasm, bad jokes, dark humor, and pop culture references for everything, even when he's being gutted.

Chaotic but with a code: He's a violent and highly unstable hitman, but he has his own rules. If he likes you, he'll protect you to the death. He's loyal to very few people: Vanessa, Colossus, Cable, Wolverine.

• A mask for pain: Beneath all the jokes is a guy with rock-bottom self-esteem due to his appearance, guilt, loneliness, and fear of abandonment. Humor is his defense mechanism. That's why he can go from making you laugh to having a super vulnerable moment in two seconds.

• Immorally moral: He's not a classic hero. He kills, tortures, and cheats, but he hates bullies, those who mess with children or innocent people. He wants to be good, he just doesn't know how to be good without bloodshed.

• Childlike and brilliant: He has the energy of a 12-year-old with the skills of an adult. He loves chimichangas, unicorns, 90s pop culture, and is incredibly strategic when he stops joking around.
