As soon as humans realized they were too friendly, they emerged—Mechs, humanoid or animal-like robots controlled by humans with a special Type-X prosthesis.
Type-X is a prosthesis implanted in place of the spine, allowing a human to control the robot at a microscopic level.

Mechs come in many types, but the main ones are the Fighter, Krakki, Patrick, and Cardan types.

Type: Fighter — A humanoid mech with a large upgrade pool and the capacity to carry various weapons.

Type: Krakki — Krakki is a defensive mech type, typically equipped with A-1 shields straight from the factory. They are not particularly agile, but they win single combat due to their even greater load capacity than the Fighter and their advanced upgrades.

Patrick Type - Literally a pillbox on legs, or a chicken, Patricks are used for front-line combat, but are inferior in speed to all other 'Mechs, compensating for this with their armament.

Kardan Type — A dog-shaped 'Mech capable of incredible speed, reaching the speed of a Fighter with a compressed air pack and jetpack in its standard configuration.

A special type is the Drifter Type. Drifter Types are enormous robots, heavily armed, reaching heights of 180 meters in length alone, and typically resembling turtles. Only two of these 'Mechs exist: the "Bessie" type, belonging to the Iron Clan, and the "Light" type, belonging to the Wuthering Heights Clan.

After the discovery of space and the presence of less-than-savory creatures on planets and expeditions there, and the fact that humans increasingly began to use prosthetics, calibers, as well as weapons themselves, improved.

Thus, the standard caliber for pistols became 10x54mm, or 12.7x99mm. For shotguns, it became 23x12.7mm, and for assault rifles, it became 20x101mm.

Because of this, protection also improved: an old, standard 9x19mm pistol can't penetrate even a C-1 protection class.

As mentioned, after the caliber increase, protection improved, and a new classification was created for it, divided into C, B, and A classes:

Class C-1 and C-2 are light, but can be penetrated even by a 10x54, while C-3 is also light, but offers a slight chance of surviving a 10x54.

Class B-1 and B-2 are noticeably heavier than Class C, but can withstand 23x12.7 rounds. Class B-3 is usually equipped for Hellhounds as a middle ground, as it can withstand 20x101 rounds with some chance.

Class A, however, is typically reserved for 'Mechs. Classes A-1 and A-2 are used for light and medium 'Mechs, allowing them to defend against 20x101 rounds and higher, while A-3 is only used for 'Mechs like the Drifter, and can already withstand larger weapons.

As you can imagine, if there are people on the planet, there's a distribution. Quote:
"First come the rich teams, then the middle-class ones, then the fifty-meter-long shit teams, then us."

Organizations are like the aforementioned police, military, and "Hellhounds". All three monitor peaceful zones, and all three exist to protect civilians in peaceful zones from gangs or clans. While the police and military are clear, the "Hellhounds" are a special elite unit, usually armed with the most advanced technology, needed to protect peaceful zones from clans.

Clans — as you can imagine, they're built around a single idea; there are only three of them:
The first clan is the "Iron Clan." As the name suggests, they're busy harvesting all the iron from the planet, for which they often get into trouble with the "Hellhounds".

The second clan is the "Horn Clan." This clan is involved in sponsoring black markets, for which they receive a large percentage.

And the third clan is Wuthering Heights, a clan of contract killers, not much is known about them.

The gangs are the most infamous thieves huddled together. They're not particularly strong, so even a person with a basic 11x54mm pistol can frighten them, so the most they can do is intimate.

After at least 20,000 years, humans realized that the human body was completely unsuitable for life on different planets, and that's when prosthetics emerged. Prosthetics range from civilian to military. Typically, German prosthetics are numbered: Type A, Type K, and Type H.

Type A - is the most common prosthetic arm or leg, designed to provide greater mobility or to replace a lost limb.

Type K — is a medical prosthesis, typically implanted in the spine. Type K helps prevent death, for example, from bleeding by immediately stopping it.

Type H — is a prosthetic for self-defense, typically retractable knives or sometimes firearms. They are usually connected to prosthetic arms and extend directly from them.

Military prosthetics are divided into Type-E, Type-G, and Type-C.

Type-E — is the standard military and police prosthetic; they are usually stronger than civilian prosthetics, allowing them to easily fight off those with prosthetics.

Type-G — is the "Hellhound" squad's prosthetic, a Swiss Army knife-like prosthetic built into an arm or leg, ranging from handcuffs to a retractable 20mm rifle. This is probably why Type-G is so popular and rare on the black market or among nomadic traders.

Type-C — is technically a prosthetic, but physically it is a suit, increasing the user's size and implanting into the spinal cord, but providing Class A-2 protection.

As you can see, the "Red Desert" is a lawless place. So what if you want to kill on the surface, kill as much as you want, but if you want to kill in a peaceful zone, be kind enough to explain yourself to the police squad standing behind you.

There are many peaceful zones in the "Red Desert," but there are only two largest:
The first peaceful zone is the "Central Trade Port." The "Central Trade Port" is a huge underground market town where people live, trade, and die. You can find everything there, from vegetables to furs. And it's here that the Black Market merchants are found.

The second such place is "Yokushima Port." It's smaller, but unlike the "Central Trade Port," "Yokushima Port" sells official products.

Planet 4V5D3E2, also known as the "Red Desert," is a planet to which humans migrated in 23480 after Earth became uninhabitable. As the name suggests, this planet is a wasteland. The daytime heat on the surface is so intense that an ordinary person without prosthetics couldn't survive there for even half an hour, so people live underground or numbly on the surface.

The surface of the "Red Desert" contains virtually nothing but sand, copper, and metal, which has colored the planet's sand red-orange. Although there are sizable glaciers at the poles, surrounded by a virtually impassable blizzard, people also live there, but mostly explorers or the wealthy.
