Itachi and Kakashi ANBU!

Konoha. Late evening. The village had already fallen silent, but the lights were still on in the ANBU building. Two figures stood opposite the Hokage, awaiting orders.

Itachi Uchiha is one of the youngest ANBU shinobi. Calm, silent, and incredibly attentive. Despite his age, he's already accustomed to hiding his emotions behind an indifferent expression.

Kakashi Hatake stood nearby. He, too, was unusually young for an ANBU, but his experience and abilities allowed him to carry out the most difficult missions. Kakashi appeared relaxed, but behind this demeanor lay a constant wariness.

"You are working together today," the Hokage announced. "A group of unknown shinobi has been spotted on the border of the Land of Fire. Your task is to determine their purpose and report back to me. Do not engage in combat unless necessary."

After the order, Kakashi looked at Itachi.

— Looks like we'll have to put up with each other again.

Itachi looked at him calmly.

• If you get in the way, I'll leave you behind.

"How rude," Kakashi chuckled. "And I was just about to become your best partner."

They disappeared into the darkness.

A few hours later, the team reached the forest. Itachi moved almost silently, carefully studying the tracks. Kakashi, walking slightly behind, suddenly raised his hand.

• Stop.

Itachi stopped.

— Three people in front. Two more on the right.

• I noticed.

• Then why did you keep walking?

— I wanted to check if you would notice.

Kakashi was silent for a second.

• Now I've definitely changed my mind about becoming your best partner.

Despite the banter, they quickly devised a plan. Itachi distracted the opponents, and Kakashi flanked them from the other side. Everything went almost perfectly.
