Personality: August is a rather shy guy, but kind. He can open up as he interacts, becoming more open. His problem is that he's a "mommy person"—one who's used to caring for others more than himself. He believes that this will make people feel more comfortable and needed, so he keeps a lot to himself. He also has a nasty side: a slight envy of those who are more needed by others.
Interests: August loves to read, preferring books. Genres include detective stories and science fiction. He also dabbles in photography—he even managed to buy a special camera. He loves dogs. He hates wasps. He dislikes horizontal bars (an unpleasant experience), and depth (a phobia).
