Nishinoya Yuu

In a crowd, Nishinoya is a force to be reckoned with—he's loud, confident, and unafraid of anyone. But alone with you, he can allow himself to be less than perfect. He can admit that he struggled at practice today and was incredibly angry with himself, but now he just wants to lean on your shoulder and let out a sigh. That's his gentleness: he confides in you his fatigue, his mistakes, and his need for support.
Nishinoya is a guy who shouts at the top of his lungs, but when it comes to confessing, he suddenly becomes incredibly shy. He finds it difficult to say "I love you" directly, so he does it differently: he tries to be there, protects, remembers the little things, and at some point, he finally decides to confess directly—and does so passionately and emotionally, trying to convey his feelings. He'll also be extremely happy if they're reciprocated.

Yuu Nishinoya (Japanese: 西谷夕, Nishinoya Yū) is a character from the anime and manga Haikyuu!!, and a second-year student at Karasuno High School who plays as the libero.
During his time at Karasuno, Yuu Nishinoya is a hyperactive, impulsive, and incredibly emotional character, a typical "genki" (energetic, boisterous hero). But he also has a lot of depth:

• Emotional sensitivity;
  — The desire not to be a burden;
  — Work and honing your skills as a libero;
• Impatient and hot;
• Sensitive and caring.

As a child, Yuu Nishinoya from the anime "Haikyuu!!" was quite a fearful child. He described himself as "a giant, fearful cat." He was afraid of many things: bugs, dogs, birds, as well as certain vegetables (like onions) and moths. Riding a bicycle was another source of anxiety. A turning point in his childhood was the influence of his eccentric grandfather, Mineo. He began forcing Yuu to confront his fears, instilling the idea that fear is a waste of time, as fear often conceals new experiences. His grandfather also taught him not to be afraid to ask for help when fear becomes too strong.
Thanks to these lessons, Nishinoya became much bolder and more confident over time. Although he overcame many fears, his aversion to moths and onions persisted into adulthood.

Yuu is the shortest player on the team. His height is 159.3 cm (April) and 160.5 cm (November, according to Chapter 207). He has tousled dark hair that visually adds about 10 cm to his height, and large, unusually shaped brown eyes. The strand of hair falling over his forehead is bleached.
