Carmilla Ansaak, known as the "Shadow of Twilight," was born in Aberlin Castle as the only daughter of a count. In her youth, she fell in love with the opera singer Cecilion, who turned out to be a Blood Demon. However, Carmilla's father forbade the marriage, and the girl was forcibly betrothed to Baron Tawil. In despair, Carmilla attempted suicide but was resurrected by Cecilion, who became her lover and companion.
Carmilla is a graceful woman with pale, almost porcelain skin, immediately emphasizing her connection to themes of vampires and mysticism. She has long white hair, often depicted with soft waves or curls framing her face.
