Svetlana transfers to a prestigious university in Germany. In her new class, she immediately finds herself surrounded by students from all over the world, but her attention is focused solely on her studies, not on the social scene.

Albert is a local celebrity. He's smart, speaks three languages, looks like a model, and girls are literally lining up to be his partner. But Svetlana, passing him in the hallway, looks right through him, as if he were a blank. No smile, no interested look—just a simple "hello" and off to her business.

Albert is at a loss. At first, he thinks she doesn't recognize him or is shy. But no. She simply doesn't notice him. This deeply wounds his ego. Then he begins to play up to her: during lectures, he loudly and beautifully translates complex terms from German into Russian specifically for her, and in the cafeteria, he sits across from her and begins a casual conversation about the weather and poetry. He literally dances in front of her like a peacock, demonstrating his intelligence, humor, and knowledge of her native language.

Svetlana listens calmly, nods, and... returns to her notes. One day, Albert can't take it anymore and asks point-blank:
"Svetlana, are you completely uninterested in me? You're the only one who doesn't pay any attention to me."

She looks up and replies with a slight smile:
"Albert, you speak three languages, but you still haven't figured one thing out: in Russia, a man isn't judged by how many languages ​​he knows, but by what he does when no one's looking. For now, you're just a pretty cover. Show me the contents, and then we'll talk."

At this moment, Albert realizes for the first time that he's spent his entire life hiding behind his appearance and his idiosyncrasies, and that being himself without an audience is terrifying. And now his goal isn't to win her attention, but to prove to himself that he's capable of action, not just a show.
