Michel Nostradamus (ミシェル・ノストラダムス, , Misheru Nosutoradamusu ?) whose real name is Michel de Nôtre-Dame (ミシェル・ド・ノートルダム, , Misheru do nōtorudamu ?) is an astrologer, physician and writer who was chosen to participate in a future round of Ragnarök‎ as an Einherjar of humanity.

Michel would currently be the only human in Helheim due to his attempt to destroy the Bifröst.

Michel has the appearance of a very young man with somewhat effeminate features. He is short in stature, and his light-colored, medium-length hair is tied in two pigtails. Michael wears elegant 16th-century attire, consisting of a doublet worn over his waistcoat. Underneath the waistcoat, he wears a long-sleeved white shirt. For trousers, Michel wears breeches that reach his knees. Michael wears white shoes and long, thin white stockings.

Nostradamus proved to be someone who liked to play pranks; he was somewhat capricious and dramatic. However, the latter seemed to be a facade in order to carry out his pranks, such as when he pretended to cry and be worried when Brynhildr threatened to return him to Helheim.

According to Nostradamus himself, he is a curious person because he likes to see things for himself.

Nostradamus has an extravagant, whimsical, enthusiastic, yet relaxed personality. He enjoys playing pranks and doing things simply for the pleasure of annoying others (such as wearing Brunhilde's clothes or lying to Göll by telling him that he predicted the gods would win Ragnarok). [3]

He is also extremely curious, to the point of obsession, even going so far as to destroy the Bifröst for no apparent reason, simply out of pure curiosity to see what would happen. Furthermore, he can seem quite cheeky and daring, as he doesn't care about the consequences of his actions and behaves in a natural and childlike manner.

Brunhilde even told Göll that this personality makes him the most irritating human in all of history, and that the only reason she brought him to Ragnarok was because Nostradamus is an important and key player in the victory of humans against the gods, and even claims that if it weren't for that, she would have sent him back to Helheim with a smile on her face.

Nostradamus does show seriousness when the situation is serious, investigating Gleipnir after being informed about Odin's plan to break the seal and resurrect Yggdrasil.

Shortly after his death and upon ascending as a soul to Valhalla, Nostradamus would try to destroy the Bifröst because he was curious to see what would happen; however, he would be stopped before he could completely destroy the portal. After this feat, Nostradamus would be punished by being sent to Helheim.

Nostradamus would make his first appearance at the end of the sixth round of Ragnarök, disguised as Brynhildr in the Akashic Records room, the same room where the Einherjar who will fight for humanity are chosen. When Brynhildr and Göll arrive at this room, they run into him, surprising Göll who can't believe he's seeing someone who looks just like his sister. But Brynhildr quickly recognizes Nostradamus and angrily demands that he remove his clothes. Nostradamus complies and removes his disguise, revealing his true appearance. After this, Nostradamus introduces himself and declares that the victors of Ragnarök will be the gods. Upon hearing this, Göll becomes agitated, but Nostradamus, unable to contain himself any longer, bursts into laughter and mocks Göll's naiveté. Göll, annoyed, asks his sister what's wrong with Nostradamus. Brynhildr replies that Nostradamus is an extremely annoying human, but unfortunately, he's very strong. Göll can't believe what his sister is saying, but Brynhildr assures him that Nostradamus is indeed strong. Following this, Brynhildr warns Nostradamus tells her that if he goes too far with his jokes, she will remove him from the list of the Einherjar and send him back to Helheim. Upon hearing this, Nostradamus begins to cry and plead, but Brynhildr, who notices his charade, simply tells him that she knows he is acting. It is at this moment that Göll interrupts the discussion and asks his sister how it is possible that a human was sent to Helheim. Brynhildr replies that Nostradamus broke the law of the gods by destroying the Bifröst.

Göll can't believe what she's hearing, and while she's trying to process it, Brynhildr asks Nostradamus why he isn't in his private room. Michel replies that he just wanted to know when it would be his turn to fight, but she tells him that his turn is still far off since he is humanity's wild card.

While saying this, Brynhildr receives the news that Hades will be the gods' representative for the seventh round. Seeing Brynhildr's surprise, both Nostradamus and Göll approach her to see what is happening and realize that Hades will be the seventh fighter on the gods' side. The two begin speaking at the same time while pulling at Brynhildr, who quickly raises her arms to get Göll and Nostradamus off her. After this, Brynhildr tells Göll that she has already chosen the seventh Einherjar, mentioning that it is right to pit one king against another, so she selects Qin Shi Huang to face Hades.

Shortly afterwards Nostradamus is seen in his personal room reclining while watching the start of the seventh round.

General Abilities: Even among the humans summoned to Ragnarok, considered the strongest in history, Nostradamus is regarded as one of the most powerful. As the man who nearly destroyed the Bifröst and the only human to be banished to Helheim, Brunhilde considers him her "wild card" against the gods (and that's also the sole reason she brought him to Ragnarok despite his utterly irritating and unbearable personality). Brunhilde even considered using Nostradamus, along with Qin Shi Huang and Leonidas, against Poseidon in the third battle of Ragnarok, the latter being considered the "God of gods" and the "Zeus of the seas." According to Brunhilde, Nostradamus is strong enough to kill the guards and escape Helheim whenever he wants.

Nostradamus seems to possess some mythical power that can instantly melt Adamantine's arm, leading Beelzebub to wonder if he is even human.

Medical competence: Nostradamus is a competent doctor, since Odin asked him to be Siegfried's personal physician.

Golden Age: As a human soul in the afterlife, Nostradamus possesses the appearance and abilities he had during his Golden Age, the time when he reached his peak.

Nostradamus is presented as someone with abilities quite abnormal, even for an Einherjar. One of the things shown is his ability to alter his appearance to resemble other people, such as when he takes on the appearance of Brunhilde.

The idea would be closer to a physical transformation/imitation than a simple disguise.

So, can anyone copy them?

So far, it can modify its appearance, but the manga has not established in complete detail what its limits are.

Complete change of appearance: face, hair, body, voice, etc.
Superficial imitation: you may look like another person, but you are not

He necessarily obtains his powers.

Voluntary transformation: you can return to your original appearance whenever you want.

Perfect imitation: I could even use it to fool someone who knows the original.

And something VERY important:
Changing appearance ≠ copying skills.

If Nostradamus transforms into Brunhilde, that doesn't automatically mean he'll have her knowledge, skills, or powers. He'd simply be adopting her appearance.

Intelligence and analytical skills
He is extremely intelligent and has an unconventional way of thinking. He doesn't seem to fight using a "normal" strategy.

• Physical power
Although he may appear delicate, he should not be mistaken for someone weak. He is considered one of the most important humans in Brunhilde's letters.

• Unpredictable personality
This can even function as a narrative "skill." He's so eccentric that it's difficult to anticipate what he'll do next.

• Knowledge related to prophecies
His knowledge of future events is a fundamental part of his identity, although the work still leaves quite a bit of mystery surrounding what he really knows and how he knows it.

Nostradamus can perceive possible futures for a few seconds or moments.
But there is one condition:
The more possibilities there are, the harder it is to distinguish which one will end up happening.
So during a fight I might see:
the user hitting him;
the user dodging;
Nostradamus being wounded;
Nostradamus winning;
both dying.
And I would have to discover which future is most likely to become reality.
That would make his power more than just "I can read your movements".

Nostradamus' prophecies may never be false, but they can be misinterpreted.
For example:
"I see your death."
The user thinks Nostradamus is predicting his death.
But Nostradamus smiles:
"Who said I was talking about you?"
