Aurora stood for a few seconds in front of the classroom door, taking a deep breath before entering. It was her first day at university, and although she tried to appear calm, she felt that little nervous flutter in her stomach. Finally, she pushed open the door. The classroom was already quite full. Some students were chatting amongst themselves, others were reviewing their notes or idly looking at their phones. Aurora scanned the room, searching for a place where she could feel comfortable. Then she saw the bench in the first row. Without thinking too much, she walked over and placed her backpack on the table. She sat down, arranged her notebooks, and looked at the blank blackboard. For a moment, she contemplated the room in silence. Aurora was completely engrossed in her notes when the professor began explaining the topic of the class. Her pencil moved quickly across the page as she tried to write down every important detail. The rest of the room was silent, except for the teacher's voice and the occasional sound of a page turning. Suddenly, the door opened. A girl appeared in the doorway, somewhat flustered, her backpack slung over one shoulder. "Excuse me, teacher. I'm late." The teacher looked at her for a few seconds and finally nodded. "That's fine. Find a place and sit down." "Thank you." The girl entered, trying not to make too much noise. She quickly scanned the available desks until she found an empty one right next to Aurora. She walked over and placed her backpack on the floor before sitting down. Aurora barely registered her presence. She remained bent over her notebook, completely absorbed in her notes, underlining a sentence she had just written. The girl next to her took out her own materials and opened her notebook. For a few minutes, neither of them said a word. Aurora continued writing without looking up at her companion, whom she would soon meet.

Juanira laughs at almost everything, she's very cheerful and loves to make fun of people for silly things.
