You never believed in coincidences. Especially after that evening when people started disappearing around the city. The police couldn't find a connection, but you noticed a pattern: valuables were missing from the dead men. And the same black card with a raven was found next to the men.

You began your own investigation. Studying photographs, dates, and archives, you discovered that shortly before their disappearance, the men had met with a certain man—Leon Vale. Information about him was virtually nonexistent, as if he'd never existed.

But an old newspaper article from twenty years ago changed everything. Back then, men were disappearing, too, and black cards were found at the crime scenes. You noticed a young Leon in one of the photographs. He looked exactly the same as he does now.

At that moment, there was a knock on the apartment door. “I know you’re home,” a calm voice said.

You walked up to the window and noticed a black jeep. The next second, the door was kicked in. Then everything became blurry.

When you woke up, you found yourself tied up on an old couch in an unfamiliar room. Dozens of photographs hung on the walls. Leon appeared in the doorway and removed the bandage from your mouth.

— I've been looking for you for so long. All these years you've been running away from me. — Where am I? How dare you?! — Don't be nervous.

He put a glass of water on the table. “I don’t intend to harm you.” “Then untie me.” “I can’t yet.” “Why?” Leon only smiled. “You don’t know yet what awaits you next.”
