• Character: A cold-blooded, silent and secretive mercenary with a dark past (he was accused of a crime and fled, changing his identity). He acts professionally, without unnecessary emotions and questions.

• Full name: Nikolai (last name is classified/not disclosed in the official lore).

• Call sign: Nikolai, sometimes "Raven".

• Appearance: A strong-built man, middle-aged, with an expressive masculine face, a short dark haircut with graying hair and a light stubble. Usually dressed in a flight or tactical jacket, a cap and a pilot's headset.

• Personality traits: Deep expression lines around the eyes, a constant sly half-smile, a tactical cap.

• Character: Resourceful, charismatic, and an incredibly loyal friend. Possesses a great sense of humor, wit, and calm in the most critical situations. A brilliant pilot and informant.

• Call sign: Farah, leader of the Urzykstan Liberation Front (ULF).

• Appearance: A slender, fit oriental woman. She has thick, dark, wavy hair, brown eyes, and expressive, stern features. She wears tactical gear with traditional Urzykstan elements.

• Personal traits: Traditional keffiyeh (shemagh/arafatka) on the neck or head, stern, unyielding look of a man who grew up in war.

• Character: Principled, unbreakable in spirit, selfless and fair. Hates terrorism and occupation, fights for the freedom of her people and never compromises her conscience.

4. Roach

• Full name: Gary "Roach" Sanderson.

• Call sign: Roach - translated as "Cockroach".

• Appearance: British special forces soldier from the OTG-141 unit. In the game he is shown from a first-person perspective, but according to the official models he is a fit soldier in the famous gray-black tactical fleece jacket, helmet with protective glasses and balaclava.

• Personality Traits: Signature Task Force 141 grey jacket, fingerless gloves, tactical goggles.

• Character: Exceptionally efficient, silent and incredibly tenacious (for which he received his call sign). Capable of withstanding any physical exertion and unquestioningly following the orders of Soap and Price.

5. Makarov

• Full name: Vladimir Rikhardovich Makarov.

• Call sign: Makarov, “First”.

• Appearance: A man of average height with a neat short haircut and stern features. In the classic trilogy, he preferred expensive business suits; in the reboot, he wears strict tactical gear.
• Personality traits: Heterochromia in the classic trilogy (one eye blue, one brown); in the reboot - a cold, steely gaze, tattoos and scars.

• Personality: A ruthless ultranationalist, fanatic, cruel, and a brilliant strategist. He possesses high intelligence, subtly manipulates people, and plans large-scale terrorist attacks without a shred of empathy.

6. Alejandro

• Full name: Alejandro Vargas.

• Callsign: Alejandro, "Vaquero 1"

• Appearance: Tall, muscular Mexican. He has slicked-back dark hair, a thick short beard/stubble, and piercing brown eyes. He wears the green uniform of the Mexican Special Forces.

• Personality traits: Noticeable scars on his face, Los Vaqueros squad chevrons on his shoulders.

• Character: An uncompromisingly honest and noble colonel. He is not bribed by drug cartels, deeply respects his soldiers, and is ready to sacrifice his life to protect his country and friends.

7. Rodolfo

• Full name: Rodolfo "Rudy" Parra.

• Callsign: Rudy, Vaquero 2.

• Appearance: Hispanic man of average height and athletic build. He has a neat short haircut and a well-groomed mustache and goatee.

• Character: Alejandro's right-hand man. A reasonable, loyal, and cool-headed scout. He knows how to control his commander's fiery temper and is the hope and support of the entire squad.

8. Shadow Company (represented by leader Philip Graves)

• Full name: Phillip Graves – leader and founder of the PMC “Shadow Company”.

• Callsign: Shadow 0-1.

• Appearance: The PMC leader is a fit American with short-cropped light-brown hair, a light stubble, and a self-confident smile. The Shadow Company fighters themselves wear all-black gear, helmets with shaded visors, and chevrons with a skull and sword.

• Personality Traits: Graves has a cheeky Southern grin and a baseball cap; the PMC fighters have stylish, yet intimidating, all-black tactical uniforms.

• Personality: Graves is a pragmatic, charismatic, and slippery corporate mercenary. Loyal to money and contracts, he puts mission accomplishment above any morality. PMC fighters are disciplined, cynical, and unquestioning performers.

9. Alex Keller

• Full name: Alex Keller.

• Callsign: Echo 3-1, Alex.

• Appearance: A tall, athletic CIA operative. He has short light-brown hair and a neat beard. In later parts, he wears a high-tech prosthetic in place of his left leg.

• Personality traits: Carbon fiber prosthetic left leg below the knee (lost in a factory explosion), tattoos on arms, baseball cap.

• Character: A committed, compassionate, and courageous fighter. He refused to follow unethical orders from his superiors and defected to Fara's rebels, willing to sacrifice himself for the sake of truth and justice.

10. Valeria

• Full name: Valeria Garza.

• Callsign: "El Sin Nombre" (The Faceless One).

• Appearance: A stately, incredibly attractive and dangerous Mexican woman.

Long dark hair, brown eyes, a commanding gaze and predatory grace.

*Personality Traits: Tattoos on her arms and body, tailored, expensive shirts/suits paired with tactical gear, and neat scars from her time in the Army Special Forces.

• Personality: A former special forces soldier who became the head of a drug cartel. Cruel, intelligent, powerful, and an excellent strategist. Fears no one, masterfully manipulates people, and terrorizes the entire region.

1. Ghost

• Full name: Simon "Ghost" Riley.

• Appearance: A tall, broad-shouldered, and extremely muscular man. The character's face is always hidden: in the reboot, he wears a balaclava with a real human skull (or lower jaw) attached to it, while in the original 2009 version, he wears a cloth mask with a printed skull and sunglasses. His arms are completely covered in black tattoos (skulls, bones, Union Jack).
• Personality traits: Skull mask (never takes it off in public), deep hoarse voice, massive tattoo sleeves.

• Appearance: An athletic, fit, middle-aged Scottish man. He has light (blue/grey) eyes, masculine features, and a short beard or stubble.

• Personality traits: Signature mohawk haircut, Scottish accent, scar on his chin.

• Personality: Hot-tempered, daring, over-energetic, and insanely brave. A demolitions expert. He has a great sense of humor and loves to tease Ghost, but is absolutely reliable in battle and ready to die for his brothers in arms.

3. Price

• Full name: John Price.

• Callsign: Captain Price, Bravo 0-1 / Observer.

• Appearance: A battle-hardened veteran with a strong build. He has an expressive, tired face with deep wrinkles, a piercing gaze, and a well-groomed, thick mustache that flows into sideburns.

• Personality traits: The legendary bushy moustache with sideburns, the tactical Panama hat (boonie hat) that he almost never parts with, and a cigar in his mouth.

• Character: A natural born leader, a father figure for the entire squad 141. Guided by the principle: “We get our hands dirty so that this world remains clean.” A strict, wise, unbending and principled commander.

4. Gus

• Full name: Kyle "Gaz" Garrick.

• Call sign: Gaz, Bravo 0-5.

• Appearance: A young, dark-skinned British SAS operative with an athletic build. He has short dark hair, brown eyes, and a neat stubble. He wears modern British uniform and a cap.

• Personality traits: Dark baseball cap, communication headset worn over it, young and focused appearance.

• Character: Disciplined, reserved, with a strong sense of justice. A cool-headed sniper and assault specialist. Has deep respect for Price and learns quickly from his senior comrades.

5. Nobody

• Full name: Classified (former FSB/Russian Special Forces operative).

• Callsign: Nobody.

• Appearance: A large, menacing-looking fighter in dark special forces uniform. The most striking detail is the metal ballistic mask that completely covers his mutilated face.• Personality traits: A gray polymer-metal mask on his face, behind which are hidden terrible scars from torture.

• Personality: Mentally unstable, suffers from severe dissociative disorder and PTSD. Cold, cruel, methodical. For him, war is the only place where he can drown out his inner pain.

6. Koenig

• Full name: Classified (Austrian mercenary of the KorTac faction).

• Call sign: König - translated as "King".

• Appearance: An incredibly tall (over 2 meters) and massive man. His face is completely hidden by a fabric hood with two slits for the eyes (a stylized fabric sniper mask), over which heavy headphones are worn.

• Individual features: Giant stature, fabric hood that completely covers the head and neck.

• Personality: A contrasting character: in everyday life, he suffers from severe social phobia, is shy and withdrawn. However, on the battlefield, he turns into an unstoppable, ruthless, and extremely aggressive fighter.

7. Harangi

• Full name: Kim Hong-jin.

• Call sign: Harangi (Horangi) - translated from Korean as “Tiger”.

• Appearance: A South Korean operative of athletic build. He has dark eyes and a strong chin. The lower part of his face is covered by a protective fabric mask with an aggressive tiger-like grin pattern.

• Individual features: Mask with a tiger grin on the face, patches with the South Korean flag on the equipment.

• Personality: Passionate, self-confident, daring, and fearless. A former special forces soldier turned mercenary. He loves risk, close combat, and always strives to be first.

8. Keegan

• Full name: Keegan P. Russ.

• Callsign: Keegan.

• Appearance: A character from Call of Duty: Ghosts, he is a tall, fit sniper for the elite Ghosts squad. He wears his signature skull-patterned balaclava, a camouflage hood, and high-tech night vision goggles.

• Customization: Ghost Squad Skull Mask, Sniper Gear, and Tactical Hood.

• Personality: Silent, extremely collected, unflappable. A master of disguise and one of the best snipers in the game universe. Remains cool even in the most panicked situations.

9. Laswell

• Full name: Kate Laswell.

• Appearance: A woman of about 40–45 years old, with an intelligent and stern beauty. She has short or ponytailed blond hair, light eyes, and a focused expression. She is dressed in strict civilian-tactical CIA clothing (jackets, headset, and a bulletproof vest during field missions).

• Personal traits: Always wearing a communication headset, holding a tablet or laptop, and having a CIA ID.

• Character: An outstanding analyst and head of CIA operations. Pragmatic, possesses tremendous intellect and connections. Unafraid to take responsibility for difficult decisions and sincerely defends the fighters of OTF-141 at the highest political levels.

• Callsign: Captain Price (Bravo 6).

• Appearance in the old trilogy (2007–2011): A middle-aged veteran with a tired, stern face. Dressed in a tactical suit, over which he almost always wears his iconic beige boonie hat. In MW2, while in the Gulag, he was severely emaciated and wore a long, thick beard.

• Personal traits: A lush, thick mustache that turns into sideburns (wide horseshoe), an invariable Panama hat and a cigar in the mouth.

• Character: A tough, uncompromising, but incredibly loyal commander. Ready to go against high command and violate any orders for the sake of justice and the protection of comrades.

2. Soup

• Full name: John "Soap" MacTavish.

• Callsign: Soap.

• Appearance in the old trilogy: In CoD4 (2007) - a young sergeant with a short mohawk. In MW2/MW3 - a mature commander with a tall, bright mohawk, in a dark green jacket and tactical vest.

• Personality traits: A high mohawk on his head and a long, deep scar running across his right eye and cheek.

• Character: A true Scottish fighter - daring, cool-headed in battle, able to improvise under fire. From an inexperienced rookie, he grew into the legendary leader of OTG-141.

3. Ghost

• Full name: Simon "Ghost" Riley.

• Callsign: Ghost.

• Old MW2 (2009) Appearance: Very different from the modern one! He wore a simple fabric balaclava with a PRINTED white skull (not a fake bone), dark Oakley sunglasses, a sand-grey hooded fleece jacket, and headphones.

• Personality Traits: Fabric skull mask, sunglasses over it, grey-beige jacket with Union Jack chevron.

• Character: The calm, silent leader of the squad, a specialist in communications and assaults. Possessed a dry British sense of humor.

4. Gus (Original)

• Full Name: In the 2007 original, no name was given, just "Gaz." (Not to be confused with Kyle Garrick from 2019!).

• Call sign: Gus (Gaz).

• Appearance in CoD4 (2007): Unlike the new black Gus, the original Gus was a white British man with fair skin, short hair and light stubble.

• Personality Traits: Constantly wore a baseball cap (often backwards) and a headset.

• Personality: Price's right-hand man. Sarcastic, ironic, loved shotguns for close-quarters combat. Tragically died at the hands of Zakhaev at the end of CoD4.

• Character: Silent, uncomplaining and incredibly resilient fighter, who could withstand any falls and explosions.

• Character: An absolute sociopath, a cold, cruel fanatic and a brilliant manipulator who started World War III.

• Appearance in the old trilogy: Price's Russian informant. He had a noticeable receding hairline, light stubble, and wore a striped shirt, a leather or military jacket, and aviator headphones.

• Character: Faithful, cunning, brave pilot and loyal friend, always coming to the rescue at the last moment.

8. Shadow Company (Old Lineup)

• Leader in the old game: General Shepherd.

• Appearance in MW2 (2009): Shepard's elite personal special forces. They wore modern black and sand-colored equipment, closed helmets with dark goggles, thick body armor and chevrons with an image of a sword and a skull.

• Personality: Unquestioning, ruthless executors of Shepard's will, who betrayed Squad 141 and destroyed Roach and Ghost.
