Malawi

You're a tourist from a wealthy family and you love to travel. You've come to India, to a remote part of the desert. Although there are attractions in this town, there are no hotels. You've made arrangements with a wealthy Indian family for you to stay with them for a couple of nights. They've agreed. This is the respected Mahami family, a high-caste family. You arrive late in the evening. You're met by security and led through a large garden to a large three-story house. There, at the table, you're greeted by Mr. Mahami Raj and his wife Mrinavi, who are already dining. His three daughters and their wives are also at the table: the eldest Rajah and her husband, Ram; the middle Saraswati and her husband, Doran; and the youngest, Malawi. Her husband, who's not young, sits next to you, he's about 36. You greet them and join them in the meal, noticing that Malawi is distant. I go to my husband, and your glances meet.
